  • Premium summer hiking shoe. Lightweight, good stability.
Size: 11 Color: Forest Olive/Tnf Black
I have a pair of winter hiking boots and I ordered this to fill in that gap for use in the NE mountains in the summer. They are similar in look to my Nike running shoes, but they are completely different when you put them on. The running shoe is very soft and cushy with borderline stability, this is comfortable but firm with very good stability. The outer sole has great treads that will grab the ground. The uppers are a tight fabric but breathable. The tongue is thin but has a vinyl-like coating that makes it waterproof. The inners are like a quality running shoe. This shoe is a premium item made with quality materials and great workmanship. These will last for years. It is hard for me to find fault with these. If you are looking for quality lightweight summer hiking shoes you found it. I doubt you will be disappointed. I put mine on right away and went for a short walk/run on dirt/gravel and they felt great. They have the stability you need in a lightweight running like shoe. Ideal for running or hiking on trails. Positives: • Premium summer hiking shoe • Quality design, materials, and workmanship • Very good traction • Lightweight • Reasonable price Negatives: • Not as much cushion as a full-blown running shoe. (the appearance of the sole looks like it would be cushier, but it is firmer) This is not bad, but the appearance leads one to think otherwise. Overall, I can recommend this item without hesitation. It is a well-made lightweight shoe that will last. 5 stars ... show more

  • Decent
Size: 11 Color: Forest Olive/Tnf Black
Very nice. Light, easy on the feet. They seem a bit delicate however, so don’t expect long lasting.

  • Attractive, clearly well made and supportive. Highly recommend.
Size: 11 Color: Forest Olive/Tnf Black
The media could not be loaded. It’s early days, but I am liking these shoes a lot. It’s obvious that they are premium build and quality. They are very light, weighing in at about 320 g each. I love the green color. I am not a big trail runner so I’ve mostly tested these on asphalt, and my best comparison is to a Hoka running shoe. These are stiffer in form and a little stiffer in cushioning. The biggest difference is that the sole seems to really taper down in the toe, such that for the first few steps if almost feels like my foot is rolling downward. I don’t notice this as I run, and I imaging I might be a good thing running uphill. The tongue is made of a stiff, rubber material, much like a quality inflatable device. That is nice so it doesn’t scrunch up. The sole of the shoe projects quite a bit back from my heel. I’m not sure what the engineering purpose of that it but I assume there is one. This fits true to size. I usually buy an 11 and this fits well. I have wide feet and I have no cramping of my toes. (See wiggling in video.) So with the caveat that I’m not reviewing this as a dedicated trail runner, I do really like them. ... show more

  • Really comfortable but lacking ankle stability
Size: 10 Color: Forest Olive/Tnf Black
These shoes are very comfortable and I actually like the color of them. The shape of them do seem to naturally make your foot keep moving. I don’t like how much higher up the sole of the shoe feels from the rest of the shoe. It makes my ankle feel really unstable, to the point that I have rolled my ankle a few times in these. For me the shoes fit true to size. Lastly, the tread on these shoes is nice and aggressive since they are trail running shoes. For some reason though there is a large smooth area at your arch. It seems like this would allow you to slide easily if you stepped on that part of the shoe on something like a rock. ... show more

  • Wow! Top quality
Size: 9 Color: Forest Olive/Tnf Black
First thing you should look at when considering buying a pair of sneakers (specially for hiking) is the outsole. This one is top notch. Lots of grip and stability. Good for wet terrains, rocks, etc. Midsole is big, and provides good cushion. There's extra protection for toes and heel. The rest of the shoe is thin and very breathable. Perfect! 100% recommended ... show more

  • Quality athletic shoes from North Face
Size: 11 Color: Forest Olive/Tnf Black
I have a wide forefoot and narrow heel, so finding the right shoes in the right size is a struggle. Sometimes that means wearing an 11 (accommodating the wider front) and sometimes it means a 10.5 (better for the heel). The last few times I've ordered shoes online, I used my best guess and was Completely Wrong. So, I'm very pleased that the 11 was the right choice this time. I loosened and tightened the laces in the proper places and landed on the Goldilocks fit for my weird feet. Right away these shoes are comfortable and didnt need any break-in. They're a delight to walk and jog in. They have a very thick and springy heel. The soles are soft yet supportive. Everything about their construction is quality. Solid stitching, nice laces, breathable fabric, crisp logo. And on top of all that, I love the look. Overall: great shoes 👍 ... show more

  • Very solid
Size: 11 Color: High Rise Grey/Smoked Pearl
I normally have to buy the wide shoe variant but this one fits very well as is for my foot shape. The cushion is definitely more firm than my other running shoes but I’ve been wearing them for about a week straight and have already gotten accustomed to them. The part that I still haven’t gotten used to is the curve of the sole, it is much much more angled as you can see how much it is off the ground compared to the bridge and heel. The other part I don’t love is the tongue. While I appreciate how minimal it is so it just disappears during wear, it’s really hard to get a hold of it while putting it on! Not a deal breaker since I just have to loosen the laces to grab it but just kind of annoying I can’t just slip them on like my other shoes. The grips on the sole are huge and definitely can provide lots of traction. ... show more

  • Holy smokes
Size: 10 Color: High Rise Grey/Smoked Pearl
First impression of these shoes is off the charts. Incredible build quality and feel. I admit, I have not taken them outside of the urban jungle where I reside - but I have already walked 20+ miles in them. They are as supportive as any running shoe I have ever been fitted for. I have cranky feet, and these keep them completely soothed no matter how far I walk in them. I have worn them on slick surfaces and the grip is excellent. I truly expect these to become one of my go-tos and have them in heavy rotation for the foreseeable future. I ordered my normal size, and they fit perfectly. I will say if you are between sizes, probably best to size up. ... show more
