I bought it for wearing it at my office where the temperatures are low because of the AC. It’s perfect. Material is breathable but keeps the body warm. It looks cool too, although the logo print just on the front was sufficient. The logo on the front and backside of the jacket is an overkill. It shouts “The North Face” to someone looking at me wearing the jacket. Apart from that it does a great job. What I loved about this jacket is that, while wearing this on a sunny day, it acts like a sun protection jacket. It is as advertised, fleece is soft and of good quality, fit is to size, color matches picture on web site. My only complaint is the North Face decal . Is appears to be an iron on or silk screen decal that might not stand up to frequent use and washings. My previous ( I use every week and is about 8 years old) North Face fleece, has an embroidered decal that has stood up to frequent use and washings .See pictures ( new fleece pic # 1. This is my favorite zip fleece for moderate weather. It would serve well as a layer as well. Could cover you for a a short sprint across the street in very cold weather but isn’t enough on its own for extended weather. It actually has a very professional look as well.

Is stylish, but not warm at all. Kind of sticks to my stomach and chest. Is more fitted. Which is good, but not for work. I wish it was more insulated. On its own the cold and wind goes right thru it. Looks nice and get a lot of looks on it though. Can wear it to mall, store, restaurant and looks good, but need a jacket if it’s cold outside. Doesn’t make a good work sweater on its own if you’re dealing with cold environments. ... show more

It has a great material. It fits really snug so maybe you might want to get a size bigger if you’d like it loose but out of five star it’s a five star. I had to return mine once or twice to get the right size, but I stayed with the product because it was so nice looking and great fit

    • Perfect for spring and fall
So far it's exactly what I wanted. It's been perfect for the late winter/early spring weather. It works well by itself or with a shell for wet weather, I assume it will be a staple in the fall wardrobe as well. The material is warm and soft. Looking forward to travel with it.

Really like micro fleece as a mid-layer, previously purchased multiple NF Canyonlands full zip jackets which seem to have been replaced by the Cedar Trail Grid Fleece? Prefer the exterior finish of the Canyonlands but the Cedar Trail seems to be a suitable replacement. Really like the open/loose cuffs at the sleeves, also great weight and finish for casual wear.
