    • Looks brand new after a year! Doesn't look dirty, EVER! Durable & holds a lot of stuff.
I bought this for my teenage daughter who is in high school. She's in multiple sports before and after school so she uses this backpack a lot. I chose this brand because I know it will last a long time. I originally had a light colored one picked out but knew it would get dirty so I chose this one. I don't see any dirt on it and this is her second year using it. She's never even used a cloth to wipe it off. There are no visible signs of wear and tear. It is a bigger pack so it holds everything plus and it has nice smaller compartments in the front pockets to keep organized. She uses it for track and cross country so it's been out in the rain and the stuff inside doesn't get wet. I don't know if it's fully waterproof but it can withstand being out in the rain for a while. I highly recommend this pack if you want quality & something that lasts. ... show more

I’ve gone through my fair share of backpacks over the years, but this North Face pack is hands-down one of the best I’ve owned. I originally bought it for work travel and weekend hikes, but it’s quickly become my go-to for just about everything—commuting, flying, even short camping trips. The build quality is outstanding. The zippers are sturdy, the material feels durable yet lightweight, and the stitching holds up even when it’s fully packed. I’ve been caught in light rain and everything inside stayed dry, which is a huge plus. Comfort-wise, the padded shoulder straps and breathable back panel make a big difference when you’re wearing it for hours. There’s also a padded laptop sleeve that fits my 15" MacBook perfectly and keeps it secure. Storage is super smart, too. There’s a good balance between compartments and open space—you can easily organize electronics, chargers, water bottles, and still have room for clothes or gear. If you're on the fence, don’t be. I bought this for a trip. The zipper on my old backpack was failing and I needed a new one for a trip. This one has been great in terms of capacity, sections, sturdiness, and I love the flower pattern as well. Highly recommend.

The bag is great, I’ve used it for one full year of college so far, walking to and from classes every day. The color is as shown in the photos and everything. The only issue is that the elastic strings around the front as well as the cup holders fall out of the holes they are tied into very easily and are difficult to get back in place. Additionally, heat gets trapped on your back and you will start sweating after walking 10 minutes. It goes well on planes and is very safe for my laptop and iPad with good storage space. It says waterproof, but your stuff will still get wet if it’s raining. ... show more

I was in the market for a half-way decent "Day pack." While researching various backpacks, I came across this one and decided to research this a bit further. Thanks to others' reviews, it made my decision to purchase this particular bag much easier. No, I did not need a laptop bag, per se, but rather, I wanted a more utility type bag which would be lightweight and have many pockets (for water and other items).
