  • Love this book
Such a great book. Since I have switched to the Mediterranean way of life, I have had fun cooking this way, however, I live alone and many recipes I use make so much.....this will be perfect.

  • Recipes
This book clearly outlines what the Mediterranean diet is and how to follow it. It also has a number of menus and interesting recipes. I would recommend it for anyone who, like me, would just like a brief outline to help me keep on track as I adopt the Mediterranean diet !

  • Tasty Food Every Day
I had tried the keto diet and flamed out with a pelvic infection. The keto diet was just too extreme for me. It may not be for other people. My doctor told me that the best diet around was really not a diet but was called that. It’s the Mediterranean diet. I got this book, and it is simple, uses regular every day food, and makes things from foods that I like. If this is dieting, I am delighted to have found it. If you have trouble with complicated diets, you might try this. It’s easy, and this is a good starter book. I am amazed. ... show more

  • Recipes look good, fairly easy
I just read this book; there are some inconsistencies such as, in the intro it states no red meat. Later, it states red meat once a week. In the conclusion it states red meat 3 times a week??? The writing is not the greatest and the pics are in b/w as others have mentioned. However, in the intro it does state it's an e-book. Maybe the electronic version is in color? I flipped through all the recipes (70 total) and only found 5 I wouldn't make. There are lots of ingredients (nothing too outrageous) and lots of prep, so if you're looking for something quick and easy this may not be for you. Although I'm sure there are hacks and shortcuts to be found. ... show more

  • Healthy
Recipe has a corresponding, gorgeous photo which I love! I made the cover photo meal (minus the parsley) and it was super easy to follow the recipe and the shakshuka was delicious! Even if you don't eat dairy or gluten like myself, these yummy recipes are super one!

  • Easy to find ingredients
My family absolutely loves this cookbook! The recipes are easy to follow, the layout is the perfect balance of information and pictures, and bets of all, the ingredients are easy to find where we live. Everything we've tried so far (about 40 recipes) has been delicious. The only thing we haven't enjoyed was a cucumber soup that is served chilled, but I think that was because of a preference for hot soups. I'd definitely recommend this cookbook to anyone wanting to enjoy the health benefits of mediterranean food. It is a wow cookbook! ... show more

  • Some good basic recipes but editing could have been better.
It's a basic cookbook with recipes I know I can make. Everything seems organized well. There are basic editing mistakes regarding technique, in one recipe "carmelized" instead of carmelize and potatoes in the steps listed but tomatoes in the ingredient list for another recipe. Still skimming through. I do wish the pictures were larger or at least in color and for protein cuts amount in ounces would be nice with recommendations. For medium white fish the author is assuming I know size and type. But I am looking forward to cooking in a new style and I like that this is in smaller portions to feed 2. ... show more

  • Good recipes!!
I use this cookbook more than any other I own. It has many tasty recipes that are fairly easy to prepare and which require ingredients that are easily found in local markets or ordered from Amazon. I especially like the “side bars” that provide invaluable information on ingredient variations, types of produce, and storage/freezing information. My personal copy is cluttered with book marks and ingredient stains, evidence of how much I use it. I’ve purchased several copies to give as Christmas presents. Thank you author! USE IT ... show more
