This push block is designed well and works great. It's thin to allow pushing narrow stock, but this means the user has to pay attention to keeping the push block up right. A wider push block would have gotten the 5th star for stability but would have lost a star for versatility. I think the maker made the correct trade. I'd recommend this product.

I purchased this one mainly because it was the only one that specified what the width of the push area was - 3/8" inch. I have a project cutting half inch pieces and really needed something to give me more control than the one I had. this has really been easy to use and the silicone under surface allows you to really control the piece to keep it straight. I've also used it for a pretty large dado cut and they saw was trying to pull the piece away from the fence. but this let me keep good control of it and I have a perfect dado cut. I'm certain my other push sticks would not have let me control the piece as well. though the pulling was my fault because I was trying to cut too much at one time. lesson learned and no wood lost. a huge success in that regard.

i am a retired wood worker of 42 years in business. this will definitly help running smaller rips between saw blade and rail like 1/2 inch or 3/4 inch material. i have run my fingers between the table saw blade and saw rail many times at 1-1/2" but always took a chance of cutting fingers. this will keep you from doing that. ihave seen a few guys cut their fingers off. you half to respect your saw and no your limitations with it. especially cutting and ripping strips of wood up. very good push stick for table saws!

This push block takes the "scary" out of making thin cuts! It feels so stable, even on regular cuts.

I picked this up along with their featherboard as an afterthought. I have the basic push stick that came with my table saw, and have made a few similar things out of scraps, but figured I'd try this. It's worth it - the grip on your workpiece is solid, the angle lets you hold it down with little chance of sliding or movement, and it's built to manage some of your thinnest cuts just fine.

Get this and use it. Don’t mess around with table saws ~ accidents happen in an instant. You’ll never forgive yourself if you push wood by hand and have a dust-up with the blade. Don’t risk it. Get a good push stick like this one.
