This would get 5 stars if they didn't use dye. It stains too much and completely unnecessary. Works great for nerve damage from a botched oral surgery, but unfortunately, doesn't last too long. 30 mins or so.

Has a good taste, but benzocaine doesn’t last as long as I imagined it should. I would guess I don’t really have much of a reference point except for the times they’ve used it on my cheek and gums at the dentist’s office prior to getting a lidocaine injection. It’s similar in the sense that after you apply it (I use a single Q-tip style of swab on the wood stick) and then sit and wait about five minutes I’ll find my throat is numb, same as at the dentist. ... show more

Got this for my newly installed train tracks. I spent the first weekend with 3 friends at a festival that was delayed. I talked a lot so there was a lot of cheek rubbing. I swiped some of this on and it was pain free. Tastes so much better than oral gel
