This works well as an anesthetic, and lasts just about as long as it take me to eat a meal, so I guess that's just right. It has a small, but not too bad, impact on the flavor of the meal, especially if you get it on your tongue (but what do you expect from an anesthetic?). It contains saccharine for sweetness, though, which I would otherwise completely avoid in food. Since I only use this occasionally, that's not a deal-breaker, but I would prefer a less toxic sweetener. ... show more

I have a wisdom tooth coming thru my gum and it’s cutting the inside of my cheek causing so much pain to the point where i can’t open my mouth to eat. I put this on so i can finally eat and it worked wonders. It doesn’t last long but perfect to just be able to finally eat a meal. 10/10

You would think that this would have the same effect as the actual liquid but it doesn't. The liquid Works 10 times better and faster and last longer than the gel.
