20/10 I have been using the wax pontics to fill in my front tooth while wearing my Invisalign retainers but it never matched the color of my teeth and was always super obvious. For the last year I’ve been self conscious about it. I ran out and decided to order and try this kit even though it’s not marketed towards using with your retainers. I am so grateful I did because it looks so good! It took a couple of tries to get it right. I only needed less than half the amount of beads to fill the spot in my retainer. I used my retainer as a guide and the end of a flosser to mold and shape it. I love that it came with a little color chart, that was super helpful and my husband said he couldn’t even tell the difference.     • Impossible to be able to help, can severely damage teeth
This product had so much potential until I have tried to work with it several times on various teeth, from small fixes to big fixes. It has caused an infection in my jaw that extends into my sinus cavity, it has never stayed put for more than a couple hours no matter how big or small of a tooth filling I need. The only way that I have been able to make anything very small and cosmetic work for more than two days was to put multiple different layers on the tooth causing it to look very unnatural and spotty with different colors throughout and I mixed the same batch every time, warming it up in the microwave until Fully transparent. The moments that you take this product out of the water, it immediately begins to solidify, leaving you less than a few seconds to try and get it to mold in all directions needed which I have spent hours on the end. Just trying to fill a millimeter gap that is visible. One of the bigger tooth fillings in the back that I needed to use it for just to protect an open hole until I got a root canal, almost ripped out the remaining tooth from the root of my jaw. I wish I would’ve known how difficult and nearly impossible this product was to Make any sort of significant difference or even a difference at all before I purchased it.     • Worth the buy-especially if you're just filling or hiding a cavity.
I was pleasantly surprised at how well this worked. The coloring in particular was literally perfect. I did not need to repair a tooth. My 2 front teeth overlap by just a hair. It's never been an issue and most people have never even noticed it. But recently I began getting a cavity in the middle where a slight gap began to form. I've been so self-conscious about it. It's my 2 front teeth so it's the first thing people see when I open my mouth. I stopped smiling because I've been so depressed about it. I went to the dentist but even with insurance it was going to be over 14K just for those 2 teeth to get veneers. So I was looking for something I could either mold over each tooth or stick in the gap and hide the cavity. I honestly wasn't expecting much from this. It had the tell-tale sign of a bad product with the stock photos, lol. But I decided to try it. I'm so glad I did. This is perfect. Pros: 1. Super easy to make. A little trickier to actually put in and mold properly. But once you get the hand of it, it's pretty easy. Make sure if this is your first time using that you make a little more than the directions call for. You'll mess up at least once. 2. Affordable. I was looking at 14K for the dentist for this tiny problem. This works. It's not perfect but it's perfect enough for me. 3. Lasts a long time, at least in the way that I used it. Cons: 1. Once the stuff hardens--it's there to stay. The only way to make it malleable is to put it in boiling hot water and you can't put boiling water in your mouth. Hot water doesn't work. So you MUST make sure it's perfect as you're first molding it. I put aa little too much and I can feel it behind my teeth. It feels like I've got something stuck in my teeth just in that spot. It's like a popcorn kernel that you just can't get out. I spent a lot of time making sure the front looked good and was smooth and wouldn't bother me. I with I'd spent that time in the back. Now I feel like I'm tonguing at it constantly. 2. It begins to degrade over time but, again, you can't take it out. It's basically cemented to your tooth. I wish I could take it out and put in a new one but...I guess I'm just going to have to wait for it to degrade enough where it comes out on its own. ... show more

I think the bad reviews are coming from people who do not have the patience to perfect the technique. I just got this today and am so absolutely pleased. I feel pretty again, I can smile without feeling self conscious, and I do not regret my purchase at all. It's very hard to get the hang of and even when you do, sometimes it just fights against you but you will get it eventually. As a first time user, it takes me around 20-30 minutes to get it perfect. I highly recommend this product to anyone who has the time and patience to do it properly ... show more

Not an easy process, takes more than twenty minutes, more like several hours of trial and error of getting color correct, color guide mix is not accurate, of sculpting the tooth which takes time and lots of patience of heating and molding and repeat and repeat, etc. Forget about trying to mold inside your mouth, it doesn't work. All that being said, once you finally have a reasonable facsimile of a tooth, it beats walking around with a hole where a front tooth used to exist. then get to the dentist post haste. My kit did not come with any tools, the box was damaged, perhaps if I had the tools? ... show more

Easy instructions, comes with plenty of product. Great for trial and error if u don’t acquire the color you are looking for from the start. I used it temporarily until I was able to get a dentist appointment.
