After looking at many Cuisinart Air-Fryer Oven cookbooks on Kindle Unlimited, I was SO glad to find this one, I bought a printed copy. First of all, it is written in clear, correct English. The others I saw had lots of spelling and grammar mistakes and were very confusing. Secondly, he gives good directions for settings and temperature. Some people have complained that the pictures in the printed version are not in color, but I prefer well written recipes and directions over color pictures. ... show more

I received a Cuisinart Air Fryer / Toaster oven as a gift for Christmas & an Amazon gift card. I was thrilled with my new kitchen toy & couldn’t wait to try it out. But the manual that came with it, was pretty basic. I wanted to be able to try new recipes. With Amazon card in hand, I search the site for air fryer cookbooks. To my surprise, Cuisinart actually had a cookbook just for their product. I used my gift card to order the book. It arrived in a couple of days. It is full of “ how-to” information and easy to use recipes. One of the first ones I used, was how to air fry fish fillets. There are some very interesting recipes here that I’m sure can be adapted for a conventional oven, and I’m looking forward to trying them there. If I can read them, that is. My copy apparently fell victim to a starving printer, as there are MANY pages of streaks and faded-out print. I kept it anyway. My particular oven does not have the 4 dials across the front; it’s the digital model (sold at Costco) with 2 dials and a screen with lots of presets. Sucker cooks like a smelter. (Look up online videos; you will be warned that you will cremate lots of food before you figure it out.) The times recommended in this cookbook have to be adjusted (that’s an understatement) but I’m fairly sure that’s the case with any recipe recommended for these babies. Just ALWAYS start out with a lower setting (by at least 25 degrees) and watch it like a hawk, because you can pretty much disregard recommended times. ... show more
