5 Stars to Carolyn for this great, "how to", for Freeze Drying, best printed book on the subject, I've seen so far. Freeze Drying is new to the average person the last few years. We all learned results were amazing yet wondered a lot in trial and error. I probably started close to the time Carolyn did and there was a lot to learn in the sense of variety of preparations for food, short cuts, details of the machines, once freeze dried then what and the list went on. She's covered it all and in a very organized fashion and a beautiful know all for Freeze Drying Book. I almost canceled the order 3 times as the wait was long, first printing coming out on Amazon about 3 months and then delayed, but I had faith in Carolyns youtubes, she'd have an amazing book and she did, glad I held out and love the book. It's huge, and beautiful, the work had to be a longggg project in making and well done. She's a great step by step teacher and with lots of answers for questions. Lets face it she's a mom of 11, she answers questions and teaches daily. Anyone wanting to freeze dry, this is the BOOK of the Decades for the subject. Check out her Chapters, amazing break down of everything. Back in the day as a rural farm girl, we would have said this got a 4-H Blue ribbon it is done so well. Would also make an amazing gift for anyone interested in Freeze Drying. Thanks Carolyn and to all that helped you. Your family is amazing, real and we're thankful for you and sharing. What a beautiful and comprehensive book! Full of great information for the brand new (and not so brand new) freeze drying folks. Carolyn has put together a super resource, filled with beautiful photographs and clear instructions. Since I first found her informational videos several years ago, she has grown through trial and error and now teaches others with excellence. This book is so well put together. I love it. Everything is in alphabetical order so you can just flip through and find what you need. Very informative on the do's and don'ts. Highly recommend this book if you have a freeze dryer.

Preordered this book and had a hard time waiting patiently. It is well worth the wait. Carolyn did an excellent job with how the book is written. Very organized, concise, informative. I had my FD for several months and had run over 20 times. Had kept a journal for each run so when the book arrived I was able to compare my notes to self and findings with what was in the book. Found much needed info that I could have used early on good news is I have it now. Many thanks for all your research and time Carolyn! Love the book!     • This is the go to guide if you have a Harvest Right Freeze Dryer
There is some good information in this book, but it is targeted toward owners of Harvest Right Freeze Dryers. I was hoping for more generalized information relevant to all freeze dryers. If you have a Harvest Right machine you will not be disappointed.
