My daughter wears a 7/8 but being that it runs a little small in my opinion, I ordered her the large. I purchased this same jacket when she was 3 and ordered a size bigger and she had it for 2 years. So I knew to order her a large instead of medium. It fit just right, sleeves a little long but I can roll them. She’ll have it for about 2 years again (HOPEFULLY) kids grow so fast. The weight and color of this denim jacket are perfect! I’ve been searching high and low for a waist length denim jacket but being 5’1” I find they’re always too long. Decided since the price was so inexpensive, I’d try the size 14 in “big girls.” I am about 110 lbs and usually wear about a 2/4 in women’s. I did take in the sides of the jacket slightly to give more of a curved silhouette but otherwise it’s perfect. Only taking a star off because it smells of cigarette smoke, I imagine this jacket was returned at some point from a smoking home. I wish someone had noticed this before sending it out again.

I love this jacket. The quality is perfect and the jacket is just thick enough. My daughter will be 4 y/o in a few days and she normally wears a size 6 in clothing. Ordered a 5/6 and the arms are just a tad bit too long but will do! This is the perfect jacket for her to wear with spring and summer dresses and rompers.

I bought this because my daughter had one a few years ago that was super cute and went with everything. I wish I would have remembered that she wore a whole size down in that older one. She is 7, 4’2” and about 55 lbs. I bought the 7/8 and it’s HUGE. I ended up ordering the 5/6 from the actual store and it fits perfectly. I’ll keep this one because she’ll grow into it eventually. It’s a lightweight denim and good to wear over a dress on a cool (not cold) night. The quality is good and durable. Pockets are just for show. The size 7/8 has “real” buttons and the 5/6 and below have the snap buttons.

The jacket fits overall as expected; however, it does NOT have pockets and the sleeves are a bit long. I assumed it would have pockets as most all do for this age group, and did not look closely enough. That is on me, and my daughter likes it anyway, so we are keeping it. If it would have had pockets, I’d have given it five stars. For reference, at this time, my daughter is about a half inch shy of being five feet tall and weighs 85 lbs. She is very tall for her age, 99th percentile, but proportionally for her weight has a very average body build to ever so slightly thin. We got the size 16 and she has room to grow. She is in elementary school and has a child’s body shape still versus a budding young lady’s body shape, though I think a young lady in early puberty would have chest room still.

I like this little jacket, the price was perfect however it fits very SMALL! My niece is a normal size 8 y/o, on the slim side but average height/weight for her age. This jacket's sleeves were way above her wrist and SHORT like a crop jacket. She will only get one season worth of wear out of it and it's perfect for spring/summer. I ordered a size 8/10. I don't recommend this jacket as the sizing was EXTREMELY OFF!

Super cute denim jacket! My little one looks so cute in this. It is a bit on the larger side but I like that because she has room to grow in it so hopefully she can wear this next year too. It's a typical denim jacket in the sense of not being as warm as a winter jacket but for the windy, fall weather we have here in the mountains, it's perfect! The quality is very nice, too. No crooked stitching/sewing and the buttons are all aligned. I'm very happy with this purchase!
