The media could not be loaded. We love our clock, only downside is the batteries for the sound and lights only last a little over a month. Other than that, we love it. I love how you can control how loud it is, it’s cute, works great, just wish the batteries lasted longer or had the option to plug it in. Bought it for Halloween, it was a special deal. Not disappointed at all with the clock, the clock works like a charm. It’s hanging on the library wall. A nice conversation piece when people enter into the room.

The clock arrived exactly as described—plays a short round of music (no lyrics), and has a solid, heavy build. Be sure to anchor your hooks securely. Unfortunately, the package was severely damaged and the clock had broken pieces from shipping, but this review is about what happened next. RCE responded immediately and professionally. Despite the damage clearly being caused by the carrier, they didn’t deflect or delay. Instead, they took full initiative to make it right—replacing the item quickly and communicating clearly throughout the process. That kind of accountability, especially when the fault wasn’t theirs, speaks volumes about their ethics and commitment to customer satisfaction.     • Have realistic expectations before you buy.
It’s important to know what you are actually getting when you purchase this item and have realistic expectations. The truth is that yes, it is a somewhat “fine collectible” due to it being unique, however it also is mass produced and has some areas that lack the quality many would expect from the price or pedigree of the Bradford Exchange. The main body is quite nice. Good size, detail and colors on the figures as you see in their pictures. That quality doesn’t carry over into the hanging characters that are made of what seems to be plastic. The pendulum is a fragile, thin piece of tin that isn’t even as sturdy as a lid off of a can of corn. The clock mechanism is probably my biggest disappointment as it is the same as you would find on a cheap $5 clock at Walmart. The light/sound features do work but they run off separate batteries (AAAs) which drain rather quickly depending on which setting you choose. While all of that sounds like I am not satisfied with my purchase, to the contrary, I am. Mounted on the wall, the clock has the look of quality and uniqueness. It keeps time and is a nice addition to our NBC collection and ultimately, that is what we wanted. High quality, handmade cuckoo clocks can be extremely expensive. Hundreds or even thousands of dollars is not uncommon for the craftsmanship that goes into making them. What you are paying for with this item is the licensing and popularity of the brand. If you are ok with that, this item is worth it. If you’re expecting a handmade masterpiece, you should skip it. ... show more

She contacted Bradbury re this but they said needed to go to actual seller. Now past return date. So $275.00 down the drain. My recommendation is do not purchase. ... show more
