It’s so much better than I thought it would be! Am I happy with the price I paid? Not really. But everything works as it should. Only issue is Barrel (one of the hanging characters) is backwards. If I turn his to face the other way the pendulum hits him with every swing.

The media could not be loaded. We love our clock, only downside is the batteries for the sound and lights only last a little over a month. Other than that, we love it. I love how you can control how loud it is, it’s cute, works great, just wish the batteries lasted longer or had the option to plug it in. Bought it for Halloween, it was a special deal. Not disappointed at all with the clock, the clock works like a charm. It’s hanging on the library wall. A nice conversation piece when people enter into the room.

The clock arrived exactly as described—plays a short round of music (no lyrics), and has a solid, heavy build. Be sure to anchor your hooks securely. Unfortunately, the package was severely damaged and the clock had broken pieces from shipping, but this review is about what happened next. RCE responded immediately and professionally. Despite the damage clearly being caused by the carrier, they didn’t deflect or delay. Instead, they took full initiative to make it right—replacing the item quickly and communicating clearly throughout the process. That kind of accountability, especially when the fault wasn’t theirs, speaks volumes about their ethics and commitment to customer satisfaction. I bought this for myself as a treat for my birthday. I must say it sat in my closet while I found the perfect place for it but then we started the process to buy a house and kept it packed until we moved into the house. I unpacked it today - 9 months after I bought it. I'd forgotten, while I had it sitting on a shelf I damaged a piece of the front,which I fixed with a little gorilla glue. followed the instructions got it onto the wall and swung the pendulum and nothing happened. Got it down off the wall and opened the back off again only to find , I'd forgotten to but a battery in the top portion. Getting the battery in was the biggest con to this piece. I had to take the ribbon,that you pull the battery out with, completely out to get the battery to slide in. Word of caution - BE VERY careful where you put your hands because I broke the cats tail while turning the clock over. just make sure you are holding the clock by the body and it is definitely a two person operation - especially to get that top battery in. Put it on the wall and waited. At the appropriate hour Zero popped out and the clocked played Jack's theme song and the lights lit up. Very cool piece. I have an extensive NBC collection and have themed the kitchen in my new house with black/ orange and purple theme to feature all my nightmare collection. FYI - the pine cone weights are decorative only and they do not move which is fine with me, because we have a young kitten in the house and she wold have a field day with this. I bought mine from BE but they don't offer a chance to review product. I gave it four stars because of the difficulty with the battery insertion. otherwise it would be five stars.     • Cheap Quality
First off, I am not complaining about Bradford Exchange's customer service. They have been good and understanding to me. They are just hard to get a hold of by phone and easier to deal with through Amazon, at least for me. This rating is based off the clock itself. The clock is cool if you are lucky enough to get it in one piece and with the hourly cuckoo function working. I struck out and had this clock exchanged FOUR times. The first two times the clock was sent to me with broken pieces. The next two times the hourly cuckoo function was just not working properly. I gave up on this product and did not ask for a fifth one. I do NOT recommend this clock. ... show more
