I am female and my feet are size 8.5, wide width. My feet fit perfectly in men's size 7, regular width. I was worried that if i purchase it from women's that it may be too narrow so I bought a size 7 in men's and it is a bit wide and long. I am keeping it, hoping I'd be able to make it work by wearing thicker socks. The leather quality is good and soft. The soles are thin that it would not be comfortable for long walks. And, as it was mentioned on many reviews, It is really hard to get the foot in that I had to unknot the lace. I am considering of replacing the laces so it would not be a struggle every time I need to put it on. ... show more

The fit by objective measure is fine but there's not much padding around the toe box. Probably best for people without longish second toes. My feet don't necessarily hurt when I wear them, but after I take them off - I sure don't want to put them back on again.
