Description

Oscar® nominee Ethan Hawke, in the most disturbing role of his career, stars in a new psychological thriller from Blumhouse and the director who brought you Sinister and Doctor Strange. Finney, a shy but clever 13-year-old boy, is abducted by a sadistic killer (Hawke) and trapped in a soundproof basement where screaming is of little use. When a disconnected phone on the wall begins to ring, Finney discovers that he can hear the voices of the killer's previous victims. And they are dead set on making sure that what happened to them doesn't happen to Finney. Bonus Content: Includes Blu-ray, DVD and a digital copy of The Black Phone (Subject to expiration. • Attention-Grabbing Film
There could've been a lot more lore, but it was still a very intriguing movie. Many memorable moments and characters.

  • A good horror movie
This was especially made to resemble film styles of the 1980's and even the furniture in it is true-to-period. The amount of detail in this is astounding, and all of the acting is incredible.

  • Edge of Your Seat Thriller!
This movie kept me on the edge of my seat. It was chilling and disturbing. You have to give Ethan Hawke for his performance. I mean he’s one of the most respected and talented actors who has made a name for himself with this film along with The Purge and Sinister. If your looking for a horror/thriller to watch, I highly recommend this film. ... show more
