A good selection of colors and the triad system makes creating lighting effects easy. Not alot of thinning required and realistically with the right pressure no thinning necessary at all.

only thing missing that i noticed was a vivid Red color (most of the red are more darker tone of red ) coloring with the airbrush work smoothly without clogging

    • Shake to mix, beware of ball bearing clogging spout.
All the colors one could ever need. As well as some washes! Remember to shake vigorously to mix the paint and do NOT squeeze to force the paint out, the lid WILL pop off and you will have an absolute mess.

    • OK, but not great. Can't do detail work without thinning.
These are not great paints for air brushes beyond base coating. The problem is that without thinning they will clog an airbrush that is not blasting the paint out. This makes them wholly for fine detail work. If you get these paints you have to get Army Painter's Air Brush Medium as well, as water & thinner from other brands(Vallejo & Reaper) do not work. The need to thin paints for airbrush work is expected for paints meant for regular brushes, not a set that's supposed to be formulated for air brushes. ... show more
