Game does not work

Product had scuffs over graphic of the game, which is ok as long as the game works. Upon receiving the package I immediately tried 5 separate times on my 3DS to start the game but the game wouldn’t load, the 3DS couldn’t read the cartridge. I understand these things happen and I appreciate the refund but it’s important to make sure the games function before selling. ... show more

Better than expected

It took me a long time to decide whether or not to buy this game due to the bad reviews from Metacritic only giving it a 55/100 rating. I had played the demo of this game and it had seemed very fun. I decided to buy it whenever I had found a good price. It was definitely better than expected. I got around 11 hours of gameplay out of it, but I am sure there are people who could probably beat it in 8 hours. I only payed $11 for a used version of this game which included the case and manual. That's the price I would recommend you to spend on this game. I believe it was $19.99 at the store, but I do not believe it is worth that much, but that is just my opinion. ... show more

I really enjoyed playing this game. Going from level to level encountering various enemies with swift acrobatic combat is an exciting feature to the Spider Man franchise.. but it has become inevitably redundant for me. For this game to be on the 3ds platform, it's good, not great, but good. The graphics, including the use of 3d, is sufficient and expected. I feel as though the 3d feature promotes identical effects for each 3ds game, which is one purpose of the feature anyway. The story-line is borderline stable. It mostly revolves around Spider Man revisiting Oscorp's robotic facility and the city's sewer (with the exception of a mental institution, bank, and another area I believe. Vigilante mode is good addition to the game for players to occupy themselves when they're not playing the storyline. Spider Man can also alternate between his costumes: Classic, Amazing, and his Black suit costume, which can be earned as you advance in Vigilante Mode and the storyline. However I am a bit disappointed that the costumes don't come with any additional features; they're only for appearances. Nonetheless, Amazon offered this game at a much cheaper price than other retailers, so I'm satisfied. ... show more

Freezes Everytime

My son bought this with his own money, so was crushed to find that it is defective and freezes. He can never finish the game. Amazon's return policy on video games is that they have to be unopened, so I guess we are stuck with it.
