Features

  • MAXIMUM VERTICAL GROWING SPACE AT 6'11" TALL: The tallest fixed-height grow tent in its class gives you 20 to 60 percent more headroom than standard tents, so full-cycle plants, tall lights, and carbon filter setups fit without cramming. Ideal for indoor hydroponics and soil grows where canopy height determines yield.
  • BUILT FOR YEAR-ROUND HOME AND GARAGE GROWS: Whether you run a 2x4 flower room in a spare bedroom or a perpetual veg tent in the garage, the 1680D threaded canvas blocks 100 percent of external light. EZ View windows let you check plants without opening the tent or disrupting your photoperiod.
  • TRUSTED BY HOBBYIST AND COMMERCIAL GROWERS SINCE 2011: Gorilla Grow Tent has been the standard for serious indoor cultivators for over a decade. The 19mm all-steel interlocking frame supports up to 300 pounds of hanging weight, enough for multiple HID or LED grow lights, oscillating fans, and carbon filters at the same time.
  • PAIRS WITH YOUR FULL GROW ROOM SETUP: Compatible with standard 4-inch and 6-inch inline fans, carbon filters, clip fans, grow light hangers, and hanging drip systems. Diamond reflective interior maximizes PAR output from any light source. Reinforced stitching and industrial-strength zippers seal out contaminants and pests.
  • GORILLA QUALITY, CALIFORNIA DESIGNED: 1680D fabric density is 3 to 9 times thicker than competing tents at this price. Every seam, zipper, and pole junction is engineered to prevent light leaks. Backed by 639+ reviews at 4.5 stars and industry-leading customer support from Grow Strong Industries.

  • A Great Option for Shelving Setups
Size: 48" x 24" x 83"
This review is for: The All New Gorilla Grow Tent 2X4X6'11" - Tallest, Thickest, Strongest - Unmatched Durability in Hydroponic Indoor Grow Tents, 300lbs Hang Weight Capacity, Industrial Fabric, Reflective Interior I've been looking for a good grow tent for my atypical setup. I use Seville Classics UltraDurable NSF Steel Shelving 18"x4x75" and 2'x4'x76" in a 3 shelf configuration with the top two shelves each having dual 2'x4' grow lights underneath giving two shelves of 32.5" of growing height each. Up until now I have had to build my own grow tents, which does the job, but it doesn't look great and breaks down over time. The Gorilla grow tent fits right over my existing Seville racks with no problem. There was some extra space on top and I just put the box with the unused frame still in it and put it on the top shelf which now holds the top of the tent up so it doesn't sag. I don't use active ventilation. The material and zipper is heavy duty and the size is perfect for my setup. I'm very pleased with the size and quality of the tent and I'll be buying more. ... show more

  • Solid Purchase
Size: 48" x 48" x 83"
First of all, package came double boxed, very nice. Very thick feeling canvas tent. All things needed for install included. Assembly took me 2 hours, not as nimble as I used to be. Fully assembled, this tent is very sturdy and I really like the reflective interior. The zipper is far better than my last grow tent. This will handle all my grow equipment with ease. Top notch quality! ... show more

  • You get what you pay for
High quality item, Gorilla tents cost a bit more than the cheaper options but you will appreciate the quality after actually using it for a grow. I started with a cheap $80 tent and it looked great when I first put it together, but after a grow the roof bars were sagging, the walls were worn and the cheap tent had a permanent bad smell. I learned a lesson and ponied up for the Gorilla, and after a few grows in this I am glad I did. High quality item, can't tell you how great the "window" feature is -this makes things much easier over the cheaper tents. I love the expandability in height although since I'm using a scrog I don't need the extra height. Would order again. A+ Update 03/16/16: I'm still using this tent, probably on it's fifth or sixth grow now? I always wipe down and clean the inside between grows, and it still works well for my purposes. Frame is still sturdy. The other cheap tent I had has completely disintegrated, I already threw it away. There is a *tad* bit of light-leak around the velcro windows, but if you are diligent about tamping it down every time you open it, it's fine. There is also a bit at the base where the zippers meet - originally a flap covered this spot well but over time it's stretched a bit and it doesn't seal. Neither are big deals nor are they deal breakers for me. My other tents didn't even make it this far.I would still order again, in fact I added a second one in early 2015. ... show more

  • Don't plan on using it for flowering.
Love the tent and its great construction. It was purchased to be a flower testing tent so i didnt waste valuable floor space in my flowering room on unproven strains. Crawled into tent and didnt even have to acclimate my eyes to the darkness to see all the light leaks. Huge dissappointment. So, i switched to having it be my mom tent and now use my mom room that was designed air and light tight to be my new flower test room. Screwed up my plans and set me back a month on testing, but still give it 4 stars because it is a very nice tent for clones or moms, something where light leakage matters none. PS. Do yourself a favor if u do buy this tent. Either buy the side wall brace kit to prevent the tent from sucking in during venting, or if u have a 3d printer you can print corner brackets (16mm) from one of many available files on thingiverse and use schedule80 PVC pipe to brace the sides. I chose the latter option as its like 1/3 the price. ... show more

  • Well made
Size: 48" x 24" x 83"
What helped me choose Gorilla over AC Infinity was the height. So far the zipper works well. It's made with good materials and was easy enough to assemble even in crowded space. Happy with this purchase.

  • Discreet smoking tent in apartment!
Size: 48" x 48" x 83"
I literally use this to discreetly smoke in my apartment. I use a sploofy and it contains the smell completely. I also recommend adding an air purifier afterwards while closed to help clear the air of any minor lingering odors. Candle does thr trick just fine or a Little ozium spray. It will eventually be used as a grow tent. I even hung my 200lb self off the bars and they hold tight. I've used it consistently for 1 month. BEST PURCHASE EVER ... show more

  • "S'cuse me while I whip this out........"
Size: 48" x 24" x 83"
I ordered the tent on Oct 26, 2024 and set it up about November 15th-ish. The tent was pretty easy to put together and will hold considerably more weight than my other tent made by a competitor. I like the tent design and was happy with my purchase, until.... On April 8, 2025 I attempted to zip up the tent when the extra cloth on the inside of the tent, used to block light through the zipper, wedged itself inside the zipper mechanism and try as I may I could not move the zipper or pry the cloth out of the zipper. I finally had to use scissors to cut the cloth and finally with a big, hard tug the zipper finally moved past the embedded cloth and started working again. Now I'm worried every time I need to open the tent that it may happen again. Other than the stuck zipper it's been a pretty good tent. Definitely less light leakage than my other tent and strong enough to hold twice the weight. ... show more
