This set is bursting with enough items to make any crafter's heart skip a beat! The not-so-good; - The pen adapters have no "stop" indicator of how far to push the pens into it leaving dots and streaks on my test as seen in the picture. This can be jerry-rigged to work, but doesn't out of the box. You will also need to memorize which color goes with which pens. - The paper cutter is very light and will scoot when you align paper or even pull in the cutting blade. The good; - The tool set is excellent, the knife and scissors sharp (appreciate the protective cover), the weeding tools are easy to hold and the ruler has both a metric and imperial side. Scraper and lifter-blade work well. - The weeding cup's suction hold well, more so if a bit of moisture is applied and saves me getting vinyl all over my hand/table. - The lightboard must be plugged in to turn on, but is super handy in smaller projects as I can store it right on my craft table and just use my laptop as power source. - The glitter and dual-tip pens are lovely, good colors and I foresee using them in simply writing as well. The outstanding; - The mats! - I have tried several off-brand mats and these are my favorite. Doesn't leave weird gunk, not too sticky, but sticky enough. Just perfect! On the whole; Great set for anyone who is just starting out...or as a supplement to a "veteran crafter" as things wear out and this is a solid choice for replacement.

The tools ends fell of first time that they were used good thing I didn’t get the set for the weeding tools the cutter works polish have to pass over vinyl twice every thing was made low quality but works

Love everything besides the mat

I wouldn't say I am a serious cricut user but definitely bust it out for projects, holiday cars, parties, etc. This has WAY more things than I could even think to use so I know that the more experienced users will get a lot of use out of it. Sharp scissors. nice mat, light up mat. all the normal tools. Seriously. if you are into die-cut machines - specifically cricut - get this option. Also would make a great gift for a crafter (new or needing a refresh on materials).
