- This is volume 1 in our series of advent calendars for all the crossword lovers out there.
- Inside each one of the 24 windows in this calendar you will find a crossword puzzle to solve, and if you manage to solve it without looking up any clues, you get either 1, 2, or 3 points depending on the crosswords difficulty. Your goal is of course to try to get as many points as possible by solving as many puzzles as you can during December.
- All puzzles are designed by experienced crossword creators featured in publications like The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, and The Guardian and are meant to be fun and challenging for a broad audience.
- The puzzles generally follow the typical rules for American-style crosswords, but to shake things up a little, not all crosswords are square-shaped. The puzzles also come in different sizes, ranging from 9 x 8 to 12 x 12 squares. Solutions to the crosswords are included on a special folded (and spoiler-safe sheet), and are also available online. The size of the calendar is 8.5 x 25.4 (21.5 x 64.5 cm) when unfolded, and 8.5 x 14 (21.5 x 35.5 cm) folded.
- If youre relatively new to crosswords, its possible the hardest ones will leave you completely stumped but dont worry, next days crossword will probably be easier. On the other the hand, if youre a crossword enthusiast, you will perhaps breeze through some of the easy ones but hopefully find the hard ones more interesting. If youre a true expert, we challenge you to try to solve ALL puzzles in the calendar and earn the maximum 48 points. Can you do it?

I bought this for a gift for someone who is addicted to crossword puzzles. They loved it. Some of the puzzles were easy and some were difficult for them so it was perfect. It was also very nice to look at , the pictures were really nice. I will definitely buy this again if it is available next year.

I am always struggling to find gifts for my parents. I love to do crossword puzzle, so I thought this would be fun way for them to enjoy the season. We have plenty of candy another types of sweets around so this type of Ivan calendar seemed like a no-brainer.they really enjoyed it. It was a nice big size too.
