I ordered this on a whim. It arrived and i immediately zipped it up and adjusted the straps. The kitty popped right in. I attached the carrier to my granddaughter’s jog stroller. She was very excited to take her kitty for a walk with the dogs. Later, when she wanted to lie down, I used the carrier as a backpack. It works very well. Easy to carry. Well ventilated. Seems comfortable for the cat—so much so that she didn’t immediately jump out when I unzipped it after a two mile walk. This will probably become our vet carrier, etc. seems sturdy. Sides unzip on both sides to allow your cat in and out, and top opens up if they want to stick their head out. It’s also pretty stable with the clip on the straps so my cat isn’t bouncing around horribly. Can stash treats in the side pockets. My cat likes it, she gave it a 5 star.

Pros: -It’s very easy to get my cat in it from the sides and the front. -It’s easy to carry and feels very secure. -Harness clip and side pockets are nice features. -The weight distribution is surprisingly good even when my cat is moving around inside. -It’s big enough for my 10lb cat to lay down & sit up. -My cat isn’t scared of it. She is usually scared of carriers but she seems very comfortable in this. Cons: -I think it would’ve been simpler and made more sense if the side curtains be accessed from the outside of the backpack. I don’t know about you but my cat doesn’t know how to use a zipper. When the curtains are opened the excess material takes up room inside the backpack. I’d imagine that would probably be annoying to a cat. You can try to tuck the excess under the base but if your cat is inside it will probably be difficult. -The front roller blind is secured by velcro at bottom instead of a button like in the pictures. It still works fine it just isn’t the same as what is pictured. ... show more

It was roomy enough for my cat to be very comfy during a car ride. It is also lightweight when used as a backpack carrier. the 2 compartments on the side could be bigger to fit some toys and snacks maybe. Love that you can roll down the top mesh and it holds in place. The small leash inside the bag to keep your pet inside is most helpful to make sure your pet can't just jump out. My daughter purchased this item to take our cat on walks. Great purchase. Our cat loves going in the backpack and sleeps in there on her own. My daughter is very happy with it and it seems durable. We haven’t had it for long so we will have to see how it holds up, but it is the perfect size for a relatively large sized, fluffy cat (our cat weighs about 11 lbs.). My other cats seem to like it as well, although it works best with our cat that has a calm temperament and who enjoys walking on a leash as she actually seems to really enjoy it and stays in it on her own. The zipper down front is a great feature as you can keep it open for the animal and they stay securely fastened to it with a leash. A good purchase for a cat or smaller sized dog to take on hikes, visits to park, etc. ... show more

This is such a great carrier, especially for long distance travel. The carrier fits under the seats of Amtrak trains and airplane seats. Its got large enough space for my cat to have room to move around and stand up. It also breaks down to laying flat when not being used so it takes up very little space. Perfect if you have a pet who loves the outside world and wants to look at everything. My cat loves to sit on my back and shoulders so this gives him a comfortable and fun place to stay when traveling long distance or just down the street to the vet. ... show more
