Description

The iconic buffalo check plaid is a staple from the Eddie Bauer archive and this season it is re-imagined for spring as a soft pre-washed cotton quilt set in cool tones of Indigo blue on white. A unique plaid quilt stitch in white thread is overlaid on the print creating textural interest as well as a distinct plaid pattern on the solid Indigo reverse. Solid Indigo also trims the edges of the quilt and shams for a clean, tailored finish. Twin measurements: Quilt: 88"L x 68"W, One Sham: 20"L x 26"W. Full/Queen measurements: Quilt: 90"L x 90"W, Two Shams: 20"L x 26"W. King measurements: Quilt: 96"L x 104"W, Two Shams: 20"L x 36"W.

I got this king size quilt on sale for about $88, a decent deal. It is true to the pictures in color and the size is great. I like that there is a good amount of overhang on the sides and it is quite long, though you can’t see it in the picture. I hung nearly to the floor on the end of the bed. This quilt is thinner and made to be used in the summer. I like it because my husband is one of those people that gets warm at night, so thin is good. I did pair it with a thin green waffle knit blanket. I’ll have to change it out for a winter duvet though. This quilt is soft though. Overall, I’m pretty happy with it. ... show more

Update. I washed this quilt for the second time and air fluffed it dry. The batting shifted in one square and now my poor quilt looks like it has a stain. I was surprised how thin the material really is. What you see in my attached pics are the two layers of fabric, the white top layer and the backside of the blue layer at the bottom of the quilt. I have a message into the manufacturer because you cannot leave a voice message with them, their phone system just disconnects. Original post: Well, it isn’t supposed to be super warm, so I have it 4 stars. Beautiful 100% cotton quilt. The blue is rich and didn’t run or fade after I washed it for the first time. Seems a bit larger than my last quilt. Super comfortable and does look really cute with the coordinating oar sheets. Very nice quality. Eddie Bauer quality is not what it used to be. The shell is super thin and the filling clumped up in all the little pockets after washing. You can hold it up and see through most of it. It works well enough as a summer cover for the bed in my truck but I won't buy another one.
