We have an indoor cat that loves to ride in this backpack. Initially she was a little afraid, I took her short distances, and slowly brought her farther away from home (I live in the country). Now when I take her out she loves to look around and smell the smells. The backpack is basically plastic, so wouldn't want to put this thing through any extreme tests. I think it would break open and your cat would panic.

One solid month of use, and so far so good all around. Great transport for two 6 month old kittens! Buying a second one because the kitties are growing so much. I agree with other reviews that the straps are a bit thin, but I've experienced no discomfort carrying approximately 15 lbs in the bag. Best part is the cats see the bag as a safe and comforting space

My little white cat has been getting the itch to go explore outside more. Whenever I come home, she'll try to slink her little head out of the door without me noticing. My concern is that she has been an indoor cat all of her life and we live in a densely populated area with cars and large, hungry animals. I've been looking into a way for her to safely explore outside, in a way I can keep my peace of mind, and I settled upon a cat bag. I ordered the Texsens bag, got it a couple days later, and was surprised at the build quality. It's solid. The base needs to be sturdy to support a cat while you're walking, and can't bend or fold or collapse. You want your cat to be sitting on a sturdy surface, not squished into the bottom of a bag. The entire bag is made of mesh, allowing your little critter to breathe. I turned down a lot of cat bags because they just had the bare minimum of air allowed into the bag. A bag that is entirely mesh allows lots of airflow through the bag so my cat can watch the world go by in comfort. If you want to turn your Cat Pack into a Cat Carrier, this bag has you covered. You can move the arm straps out of the way and unzip another portion of the bag, which folds down and ends up with about twice as much space for your cat to move. There's also a handle to carry your little angel around for trips to the vet, moving, etc. I only have one concern: In lower priced backpacks, the straps seem to always be sort of thin and flimsy. The stitching where the strap comes to the bag seems like it isn't really all that sturdy. This isn't that big of a deal with bags that just hold notebooks and maybe even laptops, but if you have a cat in the bag you want to make sure that it's a lot sturdier than it needs. You do not want to be dropping your pet on the ground in this bag. You'll likely have no problem with smaller animals, and if the strap did at any point remove itself from the catpack you'll have some warning. You'll have some seconds to notice a ripping noise and you'll have time to grab the bag and make sure your kitty stays safe. If the manufacturers can make the straps sturdier, they'll have a perfect critter holder.

My only issue with it is that the whole backpack is slightly too thin to cancel out the motion of walking, leaving my cat a little motion sick after long trips
