Though the holster does hold my chihuahua, the chest covering doesn't come up to his neck. However, it does fit otherwise. Also, the only way to secure the straps over the shoulders is to criss-cross the straps in the back. If you are on the bigger side, this may prove challenging. Large. This was too big for my 8.2 lb., long body, Havanese. That is not the fault of the product. My furbabies measurements did not align with the size chart. I’d like to try a smaller size because it was comfortable for me, and my fur baby was calm when in it. However, I could not put her top legs through the leg holes without the chest strap causing her to wheeze and cough. She has a sensitive trachea. I put her legs over the top. That worked, but she did not seem very secure that way, so I returned it and am trying something else. ... show more

I wish that this strapped in the back because it is hard on the back. I use it for biking with my dog and it is not comfortable and wears poorly on the back and shoulders. Good otherwise.

I got the size that went by her weight, it is a little big. I only put her on the front of me so far just to get her used to it. It seems sturdy enough to hold her in good and a great way to be able to carry her. I love this for emergencies as well.
