Love the feature that the memory doesn’t clear when it auto powers off. Like it so much I bought one for my desk at work. Probably will be buying another one as my son’s chemistry class does not allow graphing calculators.

    • There is no tutorial
This is an amazing calculator and will do just about any calculation one can imagine. However, as you might expect, it is also quite complicated and not intuitive. That is not the fault of the calculator, it is just that sophisticated. It comes with a very brief guide that does not give sufficient information to operate the calculator. The TI tutorial manual is no longer included nor available from TI. After several hours searching the internet I found the PDF manual that was published by TI and it has all the information ne4cessary. Even if you are competent in math, unless you can find the manual much of the operation may be too obscure to use. ... show more

This calculator is hands-down the best option for the FE exam. It has handy functions such as statistics, calculus, matrices, and unit conversions built in. It is approved by almost all testing centers. The buttons/screen/user interface feature a more intuitive syntax then a lot of calculators. For example, you can type out exponents rather than putting ^2. This calculator is absolutely amazing for the price. It is absolutely fantastic for algebra class. If you don't need a graphing calculator, this is the best scientific calculator that I've found. You can not beat it for the price. I liked it so much, I bought a second one. About the only thing I don't like about it, is that the +, -, /, X, and enter keys are "chromed" and difficult to read. ... show more
