I ordered this calculator specifically in the plum color. When it arrived it was clearly pink, not plum. I noticed that there appeared to be a second label under the barcode label identifying it as being plum colored and when I peeled that back I found that the seller had simply covered over the original label, which accurately describes the calculator as pink, with one that portrays it as plum. That’s just really cheap on the part of the seller (Happy Ranger); buyer beware if you purchase something from them! Now I have to return the calculator, wait for the credit to hit my account, and then reorder the correct one, all in the next week. ... show more

Earlier this year I purchased the plum calculator for class. I received a calculator that was more pink than purple, so I returned the calculator and left a negative review. About a month later I received a package that contained a purple plum colored calculator and handwritten letter! The letter explained that the mistake was due to the closeness in color of the slide cover. The pink and plum calculators both have purple looking slide covers so it's easy to get them mixed up. I had thought that the plum calculator didn't exist! Well, the new calculator on my desk is definitely not pink! It was like a X-mas miracle! :) I'm happy to have received the original item from the seller. They're a family run business that cares about their customer base very much. I've never actually received a handwritten letter from a company addressing an issue I had with them.     • Pretty plum colored calculator!
I love the purple/plum color of the calculator, it's cool. I bought this for calculations as I'm a math teacher, and it's perfect. I've worked with this version of TI before, so it was easy to plug in the usb, get it charged, clear it, and get working. Nothing much more to it unless you're downloading specific programs, which the manual can help with. I like this version better than the old TI 83/84 calcs that I had when I was younger because the screen is lit up and you can do so many more calculations and graphing tricks than the older versions. Purchased for my highschool IB math classes, upgraded from a TI-83. Bought it used and it came in near perfect condition, but missing the slide cover, which isn't great. It was mentioned, however, so I can't complain. It came with all the apps normally on a TI, but hadn't been the latest OS (not an issue). It's a very pretty colour, and much thinner and lighter than my old calculator. I have noticed the screen picks up a lot of smudges (probably why they make slide covers), but it's nothing major. My only complaints about this product would be the cost (but such is life, as all TIs are overpriced), lack of slide cover (just... why?), and the fact that I recieved mine a week late (it was shipped from the US to Canada though). This item arrived without original packaging, significant scratches on the case and screen, and the charger cord is clearly not original to the product. The listing did not label the item as used, and I was charged the full retail price a new product. What a scam and a waste of time.

    • Beautiful Color!
This calculator came in so many colors. It was a great buy for my middle school girl. It seems to work well (so far so good), comes with a warranty, is colored, and seems user friendly for my 13 year old. The only con I have found is the slide on front cover sticks badly and makes a scraping sound when you open and close it. It doesn't affect the use of the product in any way, just a little annoying.     • WHERE IS THE SNAKE GAME
One might ask why you would spend $150 on a calculator? Well let me tell you! I ask myself that everytime I turn this thing on. Honestly though its been very useful through my calc classes. I wish it did more trig....you know...so I wouldnt have to.
