"I recently purchased the Texas Instruments TI-30X IIS Scientific Calculator with Black and Blue Accents, intending to use it for math tutoring. Upon arrival, I discovered it was a used unit, which was a surprise since I didn't realize that option was selected during purchase. While I could have opted for a 'used - very good' condition at a lower price, I had expected a new product. Due to needing the calculator urgently for a tutoring session the next day, I chose to keep it rather than return it. Initial Disappointment: My primary concern was the discrepancy between my expectation of a new calculator and the used item I received.
