  • Works perfectly
Size: Taschenrechner
Was a little skeptical but this is now my favorite calculator. I'm excited to use it for th FE exam at some point. Works like a charm ✨️ it's very thim and lightweight as well which at first I thought made it felt cheap but now I realize it's just made better lol

  • European Model of the US TI 36X Pro
Size: Taschenrechner
I owned the TI 36X Pro for many years but was not a huge fan of it because it looks like it belongs in the hands of kids going through primary school. The silver keys ( X / - + ) are also a big minus. The display looks a bit clunky but for $20.00 what does one expect. Looks are deceiving though. The calculator is powerful in the right hands. The TI 30X Pro Math Print definitely has better looks. The silver keys are gone and the results are simplified in exact instead of approximate answers. It also has a faster chip which returns results faster than the 36X Pro depending on the complexity of the problem. The display is crisper in that the characters don’t look pixelated. The one con I find in the TI 30X Pro is that the keys seem a bit mushy compared the the 36X Pro. The 36X Pro seems a bit crisper and I don’t find myself having to input a number twice. But overall the TI 30X Pro has the same functionality as the TI 36X Pro. For the money, I would stick the the TI 36X Pro unless you just hate how it looks. But personally I wouldn’t spend the extra money for the 30X Pro (it’s double the money) and pay for overseas shipping. If you’re looking for something comparable to the TI 36X Pro in the US than I would consider the Casio FX-991ex. It has a nicer display and will simplify in exact answers. It’s also cheaper than the 36X Pro. ... show more

  • TI-30X Pro mp is an improvement over the TI-36X Pro in US but not perfect
Size: Taschenrechner
The higher resolution screen is great for making numbers and equations much nicer to read. I also greatly prefer its square shape. It's thin and light, and the solar cell makes it realiable. It's also much higher resolution and faster than the TI-36X Pro which is nice. There are a couple cons though. The buttons are a little bit mushy, not as clicky as they could be. Also the screen isn't anti-reflective like the TI-36X Pro, so there is a lot more glare. Overall it's a good calculator and valid for US licensing exams like FE/PE, but not quite perfect. Just needs better buttons and anti reflective coating, then TI should bring that to the US. ... show more

  • Great for engineering classes and great overall calculator
Size: Taschenrechner
I've bought this calculator to replace my ti-36x pro. Shocking I had to import a Texas instruments from Europe, but very nice keys and very solid construction. Very big fan of it looking like a ti-84 ce. None of the manuals are in English so heads up on that, but if you have used the ti-36x pro then you should be perfectly fine. ... show more

  • Best calculator in its class!
Size: Taschenrechner
This is truly the best calculator in its class. Very powerful, basically a TI-83 without graphing capability. This calculator is far better than a Casio fx-991ex. Here are some things the TI-30X Pro MP can do the Casio can’t: Define f(x) and g(x) and use them inside any other functions like table, data list, num-solve. You can also define f(g(x)). Allows you to work with a table function to visualize the graph in order to understand where to take initial guesses in num-solve. You can define solution bounds. All inputs are stored until deleted or reset. If you are an engineering student, this is the best choice. It’s allowed for NCEES exams (FE and PE). ... show more

  • Very nice, slim and good resolution
Size: Taschenrechner
I believe this to be a better version of the ti-36x calculator, the buttons are in the same spots, however the screen is a much higher resolution, the shape is overall more like the 84 plus ce, and is slim and light weight. Definitely keeping this one over the 36 for now!

  • An Improved TI-36X Pro
Size: Taschenrechner
This is the European equivalent of the TI-36X Pro, and is not marketed in the United States. Amazon shipped mine by DHL from Poland and it arrived in only six days. Although I have a 36X Pro, I chose to pay about double the cost for this because it has a noticeably clearer screen and I highly prefer what I view as a much cleaner case design. The keys, however, are the same and in the same position, meaning there is no learning transition from one calculator to the other. One downside: The manuals it comes with do not include English. However, an English manual is available online. Also, if you have a manual for the 36X Pro, everything applies. ... show more
