This broad spectrum topical not only KILLS but repels fleas, flea eggs, ticks and mosquitoes. Activate II for dogs also kills ALL stages of fleas, repels biting flies and kills lice. The package includes 8 applicators, each good for 1 month of protection. Apply this product monthly for up to 8 months of protection for your pet and household. Only for dogs 7 weeks or older. Not for use on cats. EPA Reg. 92334-1-92413

Cheaper and works ok
Cheaper than all the other insanely overpriced dog topicals made of insecticides we could purchase elsewhere for pennies but we don’t because we aren’t fully sure enough that this isn’t somehow magic and different and nobody is risking their furry baby like that. We were graced with fleas from some stray cat that dropped her orphans under my front porch. She didn’t leave a basket, a note, or even ring the doorbell, and that’s just common courtesy when you’re abandoning your baby on the front step of a stranger. Anyway, she sent her little flea busses to live on my porch and meow pathetically at me until my kids forced me to start feeding them too, because I always need to be responsible for yet another life around here, and the dogs got the fleas. Frontline (fipronil) was not effective. I think the fleas may have even just gotten bigger and more prolific with those topicals. I bombed the house with loads of permethrins (not the cats, just the inside of the house) and the fleas didn’t seem to mind one bit. Found a cat topical on here ( cheseritin? Or something like that) worked well for the kittens and this worked reasonably well for the dogs, though I had to give them a cap Star first and a good bath to drown some of the fleas, then the topical and repeat the whole process in a month Also if you ever get fleas you have to deworm with a dewormer containing praziquantel since fleas can transmit a tapeworm that is only killed by that specific medication. Of course. So make sure you get that as well. It’s In the more expensive formulations. Because of course it is. Make sure you get enough to treat for at least one month after you see the last flea. Tape worms are gross and if you have a carpet it will appreciate not having a dog rear end being dragged across its surface ... show more

works well on indoor pup outdoor it was ok. nothing bad except it squirts out very quickly after you open so dont squeeze at all if you can help it while opening and make sure you re over the site before you tip cause it flows fast.

Great customer service, product working thus far
This was easy to apply and seems to be working so far - i will update if that changes. I wanted to hop in and also advise of the great customer service. By accident when i ordered 8 i only got 1 4 pack. they were quick to ship out the additional four without a problem. fleas stay away
Fleas stay away. Too oily and messes with the fur, but it's better than having a dog with fleas.

NO problems.
Been using this regularly with NO issues. My dog looks just like the white one in the picture. I put the meds up on the base of his neck. Looks like you put yours down low on the back??

Good product but bad packaging
Works great. As well as Advantix but much cheaper. Packaging leaves a lot to be desired. No instructions on how to open. Must be very careful opening or you will lose a whole dose.

Works great!
We’ve used this for 3 years on our small poodle mix (13lbs) and it seems to do the trick! No reactions or issues. Love the double size quantity so I don’t have to think about reordering as often.
