Description

Control fleas inside your home without sprays with the TERRO Refillable Flea Trap. This trap detects, monitors, and controls flea infestations by lure fleas from up to 30 feet away using light and heat as attractants. Fleas leap into the trap where they get stuck fast on a SuperGrabber replaceable glue board. The glue boards will also capture other insects that attempt to cross its path. This trap also features a protective canopy that keeps objects, people and pets from coming in contact with the sticky glue board. The TERRO Refillable Flea Trap is easy to use. To set up, simply extend the canopy until it clicks into place, insert the glue board and remove the release paper, and then turn on the light. Place the trap on the floor in an area where fleas are common – typically where your pet spends a lot of time. Put in a fresh glue board every two to four weeks. This trap includes two glue board inserts, with additional refills sold separately.

One of the best new purchases I've made. This was the easiest flea solution I have used. I had never heard of these but needed a new solution for our flea problem. We have them in 1 room only and our outside cat has never been in there. We think they came in through a floor or wall but can't find their entry point. We bought 4 of these & moved them around the room to find the nest(s). And it did. This approach really helped us target specific areas and then expedited ending our flea problem. Within a few days, each flea trap was full & needed to be changed, the 2nd round of stickies, lasted about 4-5 days to be full. The next set lasted a few days longer. Some fleas were so tiny, it took 2.5 readers to verify they were indeed fleas. I tested the immediate effectiveness a few times, when a random flea would get on me and I would drop it on the sticky pad. YEP every time it stuck. We are 4 weeks out and I check them multiple times a day and only have a couple. I am going to use them probably for the year. This little gadget is amazingly effective. I read reviews about the difficulty of putting it together, it couldn’t be easier, it’s a simple assembly. The light is very bright but that’s what draws the little pesky critters to it. There is plenty of room on the sticky paper, so no need to change frequently. I don’t doubt this products effectiveness, I do doubt how it’s put together. First of all, the instructions are the opposite of helpful. I would have had an easier time if I hadn’t read them. Doing those steps, in that order, is wrong. It was difficult to screw the light bulb in AFTER I put the white basket on. The light bulb should have been screwed in first. Secondly, the two little tabs that hold the sticky part down are in effective. It easily comes off. And to that point is my third issue… It’s probably a good thing the sticky pad can be removed so easily, since my cat decided it would be fun to touch it. A good engineer on this would have made some sort of blocker that doesn’t allow pets to play with the pad, while simultaneously allowing fleas to be attracted to it. Maybe like a netting of fishing line, or little rods. Something that can stop a paw, without stopping the flea or blocking the light. *update* It’s been 4 days and I’ve caught 3 ants, 1 gnat, and 1 cat. Not a single flea. And my cats still have fleas when I brush them so I know there are fleas in the apartment ... show more

My home is clean, but the sticky pad that traps the fleas, also catches any dust particles & pet hair from the air and then they are no longer any good, they also bow and curl up. So they basically only trap fleas for maybe 12 to 24 hours. They are poorly designed. They are not worth the price.

Fleas are a common problem were we live. We have 2 indoor outdoor cats and 3 dogs. I put the two traps that we bought in our bedroom and set them very close together. The light and or heat attracts the fleas as well as flies and spiders. They work well.
