I have never had such a good experience with a product that I felt compelled to leave a review, until now! After upgrading my setup to include a 49" ultrawide (5120x1440 at 240hz) without thinking through all of the consequences, I found myself staring a flickering $1500 mammoth of a screen anytime I connected through my KVM. Naturally it was only after buying the monitor that I came back to the Amazon listing to see that the KVM doesn't even come close to listing that resolution/refresh rate as supported. While looking for other options I kept thinking to myself that this KVM was the first one I'd had that really didn't give me any issues, and how much I didn't want to start playing KVM roulette again. I reached out to Terived support and basically said "look, I know it's not supported, but is there anything I can do to maybe make it work?" Not only did they get back to me within just a couple hours, they pointed me to a relatively cheap (much cheaper than buying a brand new KVM and hoping it would support this setup) signal amplifier, not even their own product mind you, and offered to send me additional cables at no cost. Obviously this did not come with a guarantee, but for me that's fine - I will take a support team that's willing to offer suggestions over ones that stick to "that's unsupported" any day of the week and twice on Sunday. So I bought the amplifier and got the new cables, and lo and behold, the KVM is passing a stable dual QHD signal at 240hz. This KVM is easily the best I've ever used for the features it lists as supported. But beyond that, Terived also provided one of the best support experiences I've ever had; yes, their solution involved spending more money, but Terived got no extra money from me AND sent me two additional display port cables, and they solved my problem that was well outside their supported featureset. I bought this originally for swapping my mouse, keyboard, headset, and flash drive in-between my laptop and PC. It works perfectly fine with the mouse, keyboard, and flash-drive. I haven't noticed any latency, but for some reason if you put your PC on sleep mode, you can't wake it up with the mouse or keyboard. The box has an annoying beep when you switch between the devices, but it turns off so that's great! I was hoping to use this to bring my headset jacks closer to me, so I wouldn't have to buy a cable extension and so I could use it with both my devices without having to un-plug and re-plug my headset. Unfortunately, the audio quality sucks between the audio jack and the microphone jack barely picks up anything. Decent for the price, just don't depend on using your headset with it. ... show more

UPDATE 9/7/23: The seller contacted me. My email got lost for a few days in their spam folder. They apologized, saying they normally reply immediately. They offered to send me a replacement unit, and they also offered to pre-test it at 4K@144Hz. Additionally they said if I continued having a problem, it could be interference and they offered to a free DP signal repeater to see if that would help. I had already returned the unit to Amazon, but I would have accepted their offer if I had received the email before then. Added one star for the excellent response, and as I point out below, this is a well built, quality unit. --- Original review: This is a quality product. Metal case, well built, it comes with all, the cables (two 5ft USB 3.0 and three 5ft DisplayPort 1.4). It also comes with a power supply. I really wanted this to work, but while it worked perfectly at 2K 100hz, the monitor would blink at 144hz. I emailed the manufacturer for suggestions, but they never replied (THEY DID, CORRECTED ABOVE). It may just be my monitor being fussy. Your mileage may vary. Sadly I sent it back for a refund. I can honestly say that as long as you don't need to go over 100hz refresh (or are willing to at least try it at 144Hz, as monitors vary), this is an excellent product. I liked that there was a hotkey option, but you could also disable it. I can also confirm this KVM works with Corsair RGB keyboards BUT, as recommended in the FAQ, you need to plug the keyboard into the USB 3.0 jack for the RGB to work. I wound up using a simple A-B DisplayPort switch made by GiantMatrix and sold here on Amazon. It did work at 144hz, with 5ft cables, and that suits me fine as I really don't need to switch the keyboard and mouse. ... show more

This is exactly what I needed! I use the same keyboard and mouse for my work laptop and my personal computer. The back of my PC is a bit hard to reach, and unplugging/plugging in every day was pretty annoying (and probably not great for the life of the connectors). This allows me to simply hit a button to switch between my work laptop or my PC. It comes with the power cable and two pretty lengthy USB cables for plugging each computer into the device. I've used many KVMs. For (2) PCs (3) monitors with high resolution/refresh this is the one you want to use. I tried another brand, but it never worked for me. Terived has a great product that fits your desk space great. KVM comes with high quality cables featuring ferrite beads just after each DP plug to prevent changes in current that causes noise.
