I tried one out after descaling my Keurig and I think it worked well. My coffee doesn’t have extra grounds after brewing and each flavor tastes like it should. So glad to have these for a quick cleanse each week or so. It was a great price and simple to use, just like a regular coffee pod.

This product does exactly what it claims to do. It cleans your Keurig and makes it work better. It's simple to use, as easy as brewing a cup of coffee. If you have a Keurig, you might like this. Typically, we use the product every 3 months, so this package is actually a huge supply.. The Keurig coffee brewer is a profoundly controversial machine. It's criticized for generating landfill waste, but it minimizes wasted coffee and is often cost effective. You can even utilize re-usable inserts and your own coffee blend. That way, you can brew without generating any waste other than coffee grounds, which can be used as fertilizer for house or garden plants. The quality of the water you use to brew will also affect both your results and your coffee machine. If you routinely use distilled water, your machine will not require de-scaling as mineral-free distilled water doesn't leave deposits in the heating reservoir. A lot depends on your personal philosophy. If you require the ego-boost of conspicuous consumption and don't feel good about yourself without spending a lot of money, you will need a Nespresso machine. But if you're secure in your own identity and just want a cup of coffee to brighten your day, you just might prefer an un-pretentious Keurig.

Had a Keurig that was slowing in it's drip process, when the cleaning warning light came on. Ordered these because they were well reviewed and reasonably priced. Because I hadn't cleaned my coffee maker (ever), I ran two of these cartridges through my coffee maker. They seemed to do a good job because the first couple of passes really kicked out some nasty looking stuff (cloudy and thick). Ran about 4-5 cycles of clean water at the highest heat setting afterwards to rinse and got clean water. When I ran my first post-cleaning cup of coffee, it was noticeably quicker drip and the taste was definitely "cleaner" and more of what I expected for the coffee cups I was using. It's funny how you don't recognize the gradual change of flavor as the scale builds up. But it's absence after cleaning is very noticeable.
