The media could not be loaded. My mom wanted to loc her hair and do the extensions so we went with these based on the reviews . The finish product turned out nice. The hair is very stiff and scratchy upon arrival. I boiled the hair in a shampoo/ apple cider vinegar mix for 5 minuets and then I soaked it in hot water diluted with apple cider vinegar until the water cooled and then I washed the hair. That took away some of the stiffness. The hair did come with a locking needle and a rat tail comb. Mind you, I am a self-taught stylist and this was my first ever attempt at locing and also doing loc extensions. But I think it turned out very well. I would recommend this hair. ... show more

This product is exactly as advertised. The locks dyed well and installation was easy. I actually have locks but experienced some breakage do to over twisting, and was about to just cut my hair do to frustration, but this was a saving grace. I got the 1b color and use the same formula of dye that I use on my head to color them and they came out as expected. Once installed they are indistinguishable from my own locks. I may even purchase more just to lengthen my hair. This is great for those who wish to lock but don’t want to deal with the beginning stages. I highly recommend you buy this product. Recently cut and combed out my locs as I wasn't thrilled with the size of them. Ordered these to install and I love them. They don't have them in #2 (my color), so I ordered 1b. I used a color remover and it lifted the black and they're ready to be dyed once I make some adjustments. In the meantime, they're a beautiful deep, warm brown that's just a hair lighter than my natural hair. I bought this product for my wife after I had done her starter locs, the hair was semi stiff when I got them. They were very easy to bend yet you could see some of the threads that were coming out. Although I already had tools I was very surprised that it came with its own hook. There was a good amount of loose hair in the end that made it easy to attach, after the first wash it was almost instantly softer and felt more textured like natural hair.
