    • 2X4 furniture guide
While I found the designs a little basic with a lot of 90degree angles in the designs, it give enough information to serve as a starting point to more advanced designs that one can easily extrapolate from this book. Several of the designes are clever and worth building as is too.

    • Has good plans
This book has several good plans for outdoor furniture. However, the title is misleading. While some 2x4 lumber is used in the construction of several projects the majority of the lumber calls for 2x6 or 2x8. It's not a big deal but when I bought the book I was under the impression I could put all of my left over 2x4 lumber to use. Instead I've had to purchase more umber to complete the projects. ... show more

    • not that easy
the labor may be easy, but the book speaks carpenter, not normal people speech. It would be more accurate to their "Easy Projects" if they made the instructions withOUT the special lingo. that way, those of us with no carpentry background wouldn't have to google terms to figure out the instructions. Otherwise, the furniture isn't difficult to build. ... show more

    • Good book but... I got ripped off.
I purchased a full priced book and received a used book, although in good quality, it had a $1.50 garage sale sticker on it. I thought I was buying a new book, nope. Paid a lot more than $1.50. That said, I like the book.
