The Terence keyboard piano is perfect for beginners. I really like how light weight the keys are. Without having to press down too hard, the keys make a lovely tune. It came with letter stickers so I could memorize the keys and it came with a protective bag for storage. The controls are simple. If I wanted to record a song, I had to plug in the MIDI wire or USB cable to my device so it can capture the solid melody of the song. The only thing I would suggest is to include the manual to set up the stand. Overall, it was easy to use and good for beginner musicians.

My daughter loves this beginner piano. Keys are easy to press, not too hard, loud enough sound if you want and can be lowered too if you are annoyed with your kid spending too much time on this. Setup was breeze however the stand is not too sturdy and definitely can't be placed on a carpeted floor. It is easily portable and comes with a case for it. Good value for money if you don't want to spend too much money to explore if your child would actually pursue this hobby in the long term. The only thing I would change if possible is to have the keys pre-labeled with stickers, it will save so much time. Other than that, my daughter is extremely happy with it.

TLDR, it's reasonable quality for a very cheap keyboard, and if you wanted a semi-weighted keyboard this seems like a good option. I'm pretty happy with mine. I'm an amateur cellist, and I wanted to get a piano-shaped object to work on seeing harmonies and so that I can play my parts to hear the intonation more easily. It is working perfectly well for my use case. If you want this to learn piano though... I don't really understand why one would get a semi-weighted keyboard. An unweighted keyboard would be cheaper, and it doesn't really approximate how a weighted piano feels. The sound is okay. It won't ever be confused for a a real piano, and if you hold down a key long enough the sound turns into an electronic buzz (especially over headphones). But it plays the notes, and you can get multiple different dynamics. Build quality of the keyboard itself seems fine. The keyboard is light and portable. The keys move smoothly and I'm not noticing any keys that feel dramatically different from each other. The user's manual does have a slightly concerning warning to not leave the piano plugged in and charging too long, or the batteries might overheat and catch fire. I had been planning to leave it plugged in and not worry about battery charge, but I can adapt. The stand was easy to assemble even with just one person. It doesn't wobble, but I have kicked the center bar accidentally when stretching my legs out too far. It still seems like this stand design would be less in the way of legs than the X-stands.

I purchased this keyboard for practice, due to its compact build. I do not intend to use for recording purposes, but it isn't entirely out of the realm. It doesn't sound bad. They resistance, or "weighted" keys add a comfortable element for finesse performance. Contrary to other reviews I've read, navigating the tones is a very simple process, though I personally have no need for any other than the default piano sample. For the price, the keyboard itself can't be beat. It's under valued, if compared to other entry level instruments. It feels quality and durable. The accessories are just a bonus.

Very simple design. I like that it came with a stand and case and some corded ear buds soo it could be played silently or out loud. The keys are semi weighted. I bought it for my son. He liked it and used it quite a bit. He would like to find a higher quality one where the keys are more similar to a real piano. He was disappointed that his air pods were not compatible to connect with it…only the corded ones sent with it. For the price I think it was definitely a good starting set for a beginner because I didn’t want to pay a ton for a keyboard if this was a passing fancy of his!

Picked it up off the front porch and had everything put together in 5 minutes. Has a really nice tone which I'm sure will be better thru one of my larger amps . Love the fact that it has rechargeable lithium batteries. I do alot of driving so it will be great for down time sitting. The stand is pretty sturdy for what it is . I would recommend this item to anyone wanting to get started playing. I bought it to accompany my guitar and I believe it will fit right in . Be sure to grab a sustain pedal .for another $15 you get more enhanced performance

About my past experience: i could only play single hand melody with my dominant, right hand, as a child, think one finger, hunt and peck typing, 10+ years ago and haven't touched a piano since and long forgotten much else. About my current experience: If you're experimenting (do i "like" and have natural talent to play piano)and trying to buy a cheap keyboard to quell your thirst for piano fun, go for this. This gave me the time of my life tonight, i needed to play the rick and morty theme song. Looking forward to learning more very fun songs. ADHD: Sometimes picking the right song to learn is all the motivation you need. (Don't start with twinkle little star, go big! or go home.) Boring music will k1ll enthusiasm for sure. P.S. uhhhh i had to lable the keys with provided stickers...PLUS do NOT SKIMP ON READING MANUAL. You will need to learn additional key fuctntions like metronome and stuff. *Nothing* is labled. Also get the manual booklet laminated. You will want to buy additional stickers with notes on frets and letter a- f colored. The stickers it comes with are good but only give you half the picture (1-7 and do, re me fa so etc)if you are like me and need to know the note letter and sheet music placement for better reference you need more stickers not included..
