Like that durability of the stone, but hate the medicine pills I had to grind would have lots of dust stuck to the stone as it isn’t a smooth polished surface for easy removal.

This has a nonslip bottom, is a nice size for a handful of freshly dried herbs. It's not glossy on the inside so the herbs stay in place. Cleaning is easy, just rinse we'll & let air dry

I ordered the large size mortar and pestle and the polished exterior looked fantastic. My only qualm is that the capacity is a bit small so it would be difficult to make something like pesto or salsa in, but for other small tasks it’s perfect.
