I like the design of this unit because it provides a curved shelf for the cable to sit on, increasing it's life and preventing damage to the jacket. The J1772 port doesn't need to be mounted with the cradle, either, which is kind of nice. My Emporia plug latches onto the port just fine. The only reason I'm dinging a star is because the unit doesn't feel the most sturdy (at least not compared to the bracket that came with my Emporia). I can bend the part that mounts to the wall with my hands pretty easily. I don't think this will really be a problem, but would have preferred something a little more overbuilt, especially being outside.

I have a Chrysler Pacifica hybrid and hated to leave my plug on the trash can laying around after unplugging my car in the morning from it's standard outlet. This little holder works great. My charger plugs right into it and the cord hangs up around the holder so I don't have to worry about it falling off the trash can and breaking or running over the cord.

It doesn't seem like there was any care taken when making this item if you can see in the pictures they're bent I had a mounted crooked to get the bottom plate to be straight very bad production and quality control will never buy from this company again.

Solid metal with a baked on finish. Similar construction to other docks of this type with a separate plastic J1772 receiver. Includes someone lightweight anchors and screws but really needs to be mounted to a stud with drywall or other strong screws. Top of bracket has a hood top that should help keep rain and snow off the J1772 if mounted outside.

We don't have an EV ourselves, but we have friends and family members who visit with EVs. We do have a level 2 EV charger, and this cable holder allows us to roll up the cable like a hose, and the charger "spigot" clicks neatly into place to hold the end of the charging cable up in a fixed position. Keeps our garage wall neat and tidy!
