I was looking for something to place my laptop on while I was relaxing in bed at night. I looked at reviews on many items and although I wasn't that crazy about a 'plastic' desk, this was the closest style to what I was looking for: something with variable height, sturdy and durable, plenty of leg room. Although when I ordered it I thought it was a little pricey, I was pleasantly surprised when I received the desk. It seems that sometimes you get what you pay for...... I love this thing. It is sturdy and not cheap feeling or looking. I have never even thought it would tip over while on the bed and it fits well over my legs (I am a little more than average weight) and is a good height for me. I have enough room for my 15.5 in laptop and mouse. The fan is good and works well, it's not too loud. The light works good, I don't need it and haven't used it very much so it tucks out of the way on the side. The USB hub area works good as well, you can store the cord under the laptop area. The mouse pad has a nice feel and seems durable. It is a good height for me (I am 5'8"). It has a little weight because of the sturdiness and I like the fact that you can fold the legs all the way in and store it away. I've had this for about a month, so if anything comes up I will update my review, but so far no complaints at all.

I bought this ages ago and I wanted to review it after I've been using it for a while. The leg room isn't fantastic, especially if you're bigger. The legs will definitely be pressed up against your legs so if you like more room, this isn't the one for you. The cord that came with it broke honestly pretty quickly so that really sucked. The reading lap isn't very sturdy, either, as my cat, with light playing, broke the back off in seconds and ruined it before I could react and the adjustable bit is stuck in one position up top despite me adjusting it multiple times. The portion where your laptop goes? Yeah, for some reason that no longer attaches and stays down so carrying it can be difficult thanks to that portion opening up. I honestly didn't get to test the fan much before the cord broke and it didn't seem to be the best, but, again, I didn't get to use it for long and hopefully will getting to test it again soon as warmer weather comes. Despite ALL of that, the extra plugins are really nice and I did use those while I could. Aside from the features that just aren't very sturdy, it is light weight and extremely easy to carry and the broken features aren't even that awful or difficult to deal with. The overall structure is also very sturdy and, despite my clumsy nature and all that, there really hasn't even been so much of a crack and it's really easy to clean. I actually really like the lapdesk for what I use it for.

I wasnt sure what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised. It's plastic, but pretty sturdy. I used it in bed for typing on the computer. I dont use a mouse, so the side wasnt very useful as a work area for a notebook or a book. But worked for a cup or small things. The side lamp works, you need your own batteries, but the neck is too short, so it's not too helpful if you're reading a book, especially if you lifted the lid. The added height elevation works just fune, but for working bed might be too high. There is enough legroom underneath for most movement. I use it everyday without an issue.

I SO wish I could give this a higher score. I want to love it so badly, and I DO like it. I use it practically every day. But it’s materials let it down. If it was made of something other than plastic, it would be great. But the legs wobble when you try to collapse it, and the grooves that hold the legs open are just that, grooves that a plastic tab fits into to hold the legs open. I have to leave it open all the time for fear that the plastic is going to wear away and destabilize the whole thing. The plastic tabs that hold the second compartment closed broke almost immediately, so now the second drawer is useless. I even had to take it shut because it kept flipping open. That being said, the design of the computer side works wonderfully. The fan helps my gaming laptop’s cooling system extremely well. And even in the raised position the laptop is sturdy and I never feel like I have to worry that it’s going to fall off or that the shelf is going to break. If this thing had better legs and drawer construction, it would be a 6/5 for me.

The media could not be loaded. It's amazing it was everything I needed for the price, all the others are this price or MORE so less features, crappies fans(razor blade 15 has a design flaw where the fan that expells the most heat sits under the monitor I needed a wide fan not just a small awful circle there are extra air holes at the top allowing my computer to cool down) non-extendable legs or stuff I just DONT care about. YES it does come with a battery option so you don't HAVE to plug it into your computer. The pegs on the legs to pop out unevenly(not one smooth motion) so I do try to be careful just incase but this plastic is still more than sturdy. I read all these reviews and second guessed my purchase in the worst way I was really nervous about my delivery(you guys suck) but I'm infact more than please this thing is my baby, screw every other over priced lap desk. IMPORTSNT NOTE: When opening the compartments push inward and open at the same time or you'll break the pegs holding the compartments shut. Don't just force it. IN and pull same time. Like a medicine bottle. Not a design flaw. Just not mentioned.

Fan works beautiful. Been over a month since I ordered. Desk can raise higher( i am just short and petite so this size works fine for me). For the fan to work you have to plug it into computer. Batteries are needed for light. Comes with inside storage. Mouse pad side does not move but everything else about the desk is great. Durable and will last a while for my usage.
