Took it camping 2 nights in a light rain. I did spray it with waterproofing before I went, but held up. At the end of the 2nd night water was barely seeping through, which was a huge win IMO, on a $30 tent. Definitely hit above the door before unzipping, water can’t help but come in on that slant. The frame held inside the long sleeves really made it feel solid. Easy to set up, I think it’s really light, and if you pay attention unfolding it, it’s actually very easy to fold back up and get into the bag. The two guys I was camping with wasn’t able to achieve that, so I see it as a huge plus. All in all, I am sure you can pay more for a lot of bells and whistles, but if you just need a camping tent, this one’s for you. Also, I am 6’6” so I slept corner to corner, but it personally wasn’t a issue, and still had plenty of room for my bags in my tent. ... show more

Took it camping and had a torrential downpour where streams were running around and through the campsite. 98% of the rain stayed out and I think the only reason there was a hint was my son's stuff was touching the edge. Dried quick. Easy to set up, easy to take down. I put it up by myself in 5 minutes. Good size for tall guy. The thickness was not top of the line, but it did the job. This tent although small, packs a big SPACIOUS punch! Easy set up and take down and so cozy. Im definitely ordering the green one. I wished they made it at least 68/69 inches standing height, added an e-port for an outdoor electrical cord, reconstruct the mesh screen door to a D door configuration that rolls to the side instead of down if you want to open it up. First off, this is more of a child's tent for play. It is not water resistant. The rain fly isn't large enough to keep water out when it rains especially if it is windy. The water blows right under the fly and into the tent. Due to the shape of the tent, you lose a LOT of space. It's a horrible design. If it were rectangular, it would work, but the hexagon shape just wastes space in the tent. The doors open downward, not upward, so the door ends up on the floor and gets stepped on and is east to trip on. I bought this tent because it looked like the windows would give good ventilation, and it does for the most part, but everything else about this tent is a major fail. Though this directions are pretty tiny on the bag that holds the tent, it was very easy to set up but definitely needs at least 2 people to put it together. The 4 person fits a standard king sized air mattress with enough room leftover to comfortably fit backpacks and a small cooler at the foot of the bed.
