Amazing Drone
Style: TSRC Q8
I always believe there is someone for every product. This drone is for those who want a with a fun to fly drone that is stable, well built, gives excellent fly time, enough power to overcome the winds at the beach, all with a good camera the provides solid picture quality. Performance this drone has 4 brushless motors which provide instant power. This is critical for control and wind resistance. Pay attention to the initial set up, while it's a little odd it's very easy to do. This set up will make flying later much more enjoyable, as well as open up some additional features like return home. When it comes to the camera other than the pictures where you. An see the drone they were taken by the drone, not too bad for this price range. The app from tsrc also us a very nice to have and well worth it. A note when setting it up if you have a samsung turn off the feature that automatically switches to a better internet connection. Initially I struggled because the drone has no internet so my phone would switch to mobile data or to another wifi. This stops the app from recognizing the drone. The picture are good and the button on the remote is helpful to take them. Overall this is a fantastic drone I wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Are there others that are better, I am sure but are they in this price range, unlikely.

TSRC Q8: Affordable, User-Friendly Drone with Reliable Performance and Great Support
Style: TSRC Q8
As a new user of GPS drone, I was pleasantly surprised with the TSRC Q8. The build quality is impressive, offering a sturdy and well-constructed design that feels reliable for beginners and hobbyists alike. For those like me who are cautious with their gear, it's comforting to note that the TSRC Q8 doesn’t feel like a fragile piece of technology. While the exact range of the drone isn't specified, I have kept my flights within a 200-meter radius to avoid potential mishaps. However, the drone does feature an auto-return function that reliably brings it back when needed, which provides additional peace of mind. I tested this feature several times, and it consistently returned safely. That said, pushing the drone to its limits can lead to an unstable video feed, so I recommend keeping flights moderate unless you're feeling adventurous. Operating the TSRC Q8 is remarkably straightforward, even for a beginner. The power control is automated, which means you focus only on navigating up, down, forward, backward, and sideways. This user-friendly control scheme makes it an ideal option for those new to flying drones. I found it helpful to put my phone on airplane mode during flights to prevent any distractions from other apps or notifications. While the app interface could use some improvements for a smoother user experience, it functions well enough for basic operations. The drone comes with three batteries, which is a wonderful inclusion for extended flying time. Each battery takes about 2 to 3 hours to recharge fully, offering significant flight time before needing a recharge. This allows for more exploration and enjoyment between charges. Although I haven’t explored the camera capabilities yet due to not having a micro SD card, it is important to note that potential buyers will need to purchase this separately. For those interested in aerial photography or videography, investing in a high-quality micro SD card will be worth it. While the TSRC Q8 may not be the best drone on the market, it's definitely worth the investment given its price. Plus, the support team for this drone is very responsive. If you need any help, feel free to contact them—they are eager to assist with any issues or questions you might have. Overall, the TSRC Q8 offers a fantastic entry point into the world of drones. Its sturdy build, easy-to-use controls, and reliable return function make it a great choice for beginners. While there are areas for improvement, especially regarding app functionality and camera setup, the overall experience is positive. For anyone looking to start their drone-flying adventure, the TSRC Q8 is definitely worth considering.

AFFORDABLE, FUN BEGINNER DRONE
Style: TSRC Q8
This is a great drone for the price. I purchased it for my teen nephew and wanted to evaluate it for myself before I give it to him. Now I am considering buying one for myself. My only other experience with drones is the Mota JetJat Ultra from about 6 years ago; it makes the Q8 look and perform like a Cadillac. OVERAL QUALITY: The drone is well constructed and durable. It comes in a nicely laid out padded case which will help protect the drone and accessories. INSTRUCTIONS: The included instructions are good for a beginner. Definitely watch the operational video accessible by QR code AND additional videos by searching YouTube (there are several). Calibrations are VERY important. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS AND FOLLOW THEM TO THE LETTER FOR MAXIMUM ENJOYMNENT! CUSTOMER SERVICE: Customer service is excellent. Their email address is on the front page of the instructions. I contacted them for information on availability of spares, and they responded the same day. That is a HUGE plus in my book. CONTROLLER: The controller is well made and durable. Controls are easy to manipulate and responsive. Battery life for the controller is OK; you'll probably have to recharge the controller before you run out of flight time with the 3 included drone batteries. Information about the drone such as battery life, distance, and mode are right on the screen. You can operate the drone with a phone; I think that might be best for a beginner in order to learn the basics of navigation. PHONE CONTROL: The drone app really looks great and is easy to download, set-up and operate. I downloaded the Android version, and I didn't have any problems. I didn't try ALL the features because I wanted to explore them with my nephew later. The phone holder holds my old Nexus 6 (Shamu) with no problems, so most smartphones should fit in the holder. BATTERIES: The batteries deliver as promised. They are slightly difficult to insert and remove, but I was being super cautious as it's a gift. Allow a couple hours to charge using a standard USB-C charging cord. DISCLAIMER: Amazon did replace 1 battery due to a defect, but I had the replacement in just a couple days. CAMERA: The camera quality and controls are really good. I didn't spend a lot of time with video as I was trying to improve my drone navigation skills. You won't get professional video with this, but you didn't pay an arm and a leg for the drone either. CONCLUSION: Great if you are wanting to get started with drones and don't want to go broke in the process. Suitable for responsible teens and adults, it's a lot of fun without the stress of an expensive investment.
