I absolutely never in my life thought a small headphone amp could sound this good. Every time I've used headphone outs, whether it be a typical combo amp or on an amp head, the sound was always so harsh and tinny. The Katana:GO (especially with Stage Feel active) sounds like a record-quality amp, whether it be on guitar or bass. It charges fast enough that I can use it over and over, the bluetooth is near seamless, and being able to not only customize parameters for each amp preset, as well as load up songs on my phone into the Session Mode list means I can, and DO, walk around my house plucking or strumming away on my guitar/bass with my music like I'm walking around on stage. I've played more with this in a week than I've fired up my amps in a month. I couldn't recommend this thing enough to ANYONE that needs a fun way to jam or practice. Don't even think about it, just get it. You'll be very pleased!

I LOVE THE BOSS KATANA GO!! Whenever I get the random urge to play some guns n roses at 2am I can just plug this little wonderful amp in, connect my headphones and jam away to welcome to the jungle without ever disturbing my neighbors. It's customizable so you can use the app to find sounds you like (slash in this case) and download his sound to play. There is a great community always adding sounds and effects too which make it versatile. It comes with 30 programmable channels that are all modifiable making it the best financial investment for practicing late at night. It sounds awesome to boot too. The battery life is great and it charges pretty quickly and will last you a good while too.

I've never been so blown away by a little device in my life. Few things made me mad, like the fact it doesn't come with a 3.5mm aux or case.. (like really guys?) But honestly the quality of this thing is mind blowing. It sounds better than every amp I've ever owned. There is a whole library of presets you can download, where others already did the work so you don't need to. But the this thing can do anything. Harmony, reverb, you name it I promise you it has it. I've never been so impressed in my life. If you are tight on money but want a good sound buy this and a flat speaker. You will be shocked I promise.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I bought this to directly compare it with the Fender Mustang Micro Plus and keep the winner of the bake off. My use case is silent practice on bass. While the Mustang Micro does not have a dedicated bass mode or any actual bass amp unlike the Katana Go, I found right away that I could get a very good bass tone much more quickly with the Fender than with the Boss. The Katana Go has many more effects than the Mustang Micro, but I found myself having to continuously fiddle around with settings to get something that sounded good instead of actually playing. I found the Boss to be very boomy and had to do an aggressive HPF cut at 100hz to the default EQ just as a base line. The Fender app is nicer to use than the Boss app and the Bluetooth set up experience of the Fender was much smoother and easier than the Boss. Pros for the Boss are a larger selection of effects, including some fun synths and filters, slightly more flexibility in setting the effects chain (Both are pretty much fixed, with the Boss having two chain sequence options), and the Boss handled high impedance headphones which with the Fender will require that you crank the volume. (That was the case with my 250 ohm headphones, but I have no issue with my low impedance IEMs) Pros for the Fender is that it has a better app and sounds better right away, which for what I want to do makes it the winner.

This is a fantastic device. Works with the Katana Librarian 3rd party tool which is also excellent. I have a Katana 100 MkII amp also and this thing beats it for simplicity of recording and analog stereo out which the big amp doesn’t have. In retrospect, I could plug this thing into a PA for stage work and call it a day
