I received this awesome case yesterday, Sunday June 14th. This great iPhone XR case is exactly as described and better than expected. I paid for this myself so there is no motivation to make a biased opinion. After testing and evaluating several popular cases, this case made by Tendlin has everything and more that I require in a protective and stylish phone case. It features elements of wood, a small rectangular piece of leather that actually smells like that classic leather aroma. The wood creates an elegance. The carbon fiber compliments and completes the case to create a unique one of a kind phone experience. I highly recommend this durable and rugged yet super slim design phone case. It’s a very bold and stylish appearance. So as of now I don’t have any complaints. The last thing to mention is the packaging is nice and comes with a screen protector, wipes to prepare screen before installation and instructions to guide you through the simple process. I bought this on April 30th along with Ailun Screen protectors for my wife’s phone. Number one she REALLY liked the look of this, it was not bulky like the otters and lifeproofs that I have. Number two it fits nicely and she has easy access to all necessary buttons and ports. LASTLY AND MOST IMPORTANTLY..... ITS DURABLE AF. On Sunday we decided to take a trip to a pool in the neighboring county. On the way home my wife accidentally left her phone on the top of the car. We had driven approximately 8 to 10 minutes on the highway when we heard a thunk on the truck. Wondering what the noise was, I immediately looked for her phone which was not in its normal place. We were going approximately 50 miles an hour at the time, we slowed and turned around and found her phone laying in the middle of the right lane. I picked the phone up which had been separated from the case, and it was working perfectly. The glass screen protector had shattered, but apart from a few superficial scuffs along the somewhat unprotected edge of the phone… It’s perfectly functional including the camera and speakers. Therefore this inexpensive case more than made up for its cost. I am wickedly impressed. I have happily replaced the ailus screen protector and put the phone back in its case and it’s as if it never happened. Effing amazing.

Unique design with some design errors. The grip is slippery on the sides of the case, thus if one has a relaxed grip it will slide out of your hand. Most cases offer a material around the case to reduce slipping. If they had not added the side “wood” and rubber strips it would grip better. On a marginal note, the case doesnt have enough depth to sink into the case. My super thin lanyard attachment at the bottom elevated the phone upward. So that makes it easier for the phone to possible to dislodge.
