We've used Tenax Nordic Plus snow fence for years. Not to be confused with the cheap colored plastic fences that last only part of a season. We have 1/2 a mile of this fence in use for years. Installation is a key factor. Posts must be solid to withstand the wind pressure and not topple the fence. Stretching tight prevents rubbing on posts and fence wear. Keep the fence clear of metal unless it's smooth so it won't wear. We've found lacing pvc sched. 80 1/2 inch pipe through the fence the attaching to wood posts with UV protected cable ties and an occasional coated wire works the best. Compare the weight at 40 pounds per 100 feet to the cheap stuff. That tells the story. ... show more
