It's virtually invisible and naturally blends into the natural landscape. Tenax Deer Fence Select polypropylene fence is a cost- effective solution to protect your real estate from these creatures. Thanks to a unique stretching process in both directions, it is incredibly strong and resistant, but also light and flexible at the same time. • Works Great! Sturdy, easy to work with.
Size: 6 ft x 100 ft
This is a thicker & larger-size mesh that works great for keeping the deer away from our magnolias. I'm guessing that it will last several years. If so, I won't ever need to replace it (the trees will be big enough to withstand browsing by then). The mesh-size is big enough that you can thread it over a typical T fencepost. So, you don't need very many zip ties to hold it in place. I used 8 ft. T posts & this is taller than the posts, after the posts are driven in. If you use wire (vs. zip ties) at the overlap post, then you can easily get in/out to deal with weeds that grow up, or to treat fire ant mounds, or .... The thinner stuff also works, but needs to be replaced & worries me that it could trap birds, or at least would be a problem for them (because they can't easily see it). This stuff is so thick, I don't think it's a problem for the birds. We planted 4 (6 ft.) magnolias in early spring & have nests in two of them. ... show more

    • Fairly heavy duty fence, large enough roll that I was able to use one rol to fence garden in
Size: 7.5-Ft x 330-Ft
I normally buy rolls of the heavier version of this fence, but I needed something inexpensive to keep deer out of a less critical area, so I went with this inexpensive version. It seems to be just as strong as the next step up, but one side is't finished clean like the other, so there are little bits poking out from one end. Not a big deal for me. The only issue I've had is with rabbits chewing holes through it, but they've done the same thing to the heavier fence, and anything that isn't steel will suffer the same fate when rabbits really want in. This product does install easily. I didn't have ten foot t-posts on hand, so I used 6.5' posts, and zip-tied 3/4" metal conduit to the posts as risers. Once those were standing I used the same zip-ties to secure the fence to the poles, tensioning by hand as I attached them at 20' spans. It's been weeks, and there's been no damage to my squash ad sunflowers, unlike the crops outside the fence, which were wiped out to the ground in two days. We have a lot of hungry deer around here, so anything not fenced in will be wiped out quickly, even plants advertise as deer resistant. Forget all of the nonsense "solutions" people post about, like bars or soap, sprinklers, and stinky sprays. They just don't work through the season. The only real way to keep deer out is with fence, and this one does the job very well. Our market gardens are now safe. ... show more

    • Great!
Size: 6 ft x 100 ft
Super durable, great value, easy to install, light weight enough for one person to move and install but strong enough to keep the deer, coyotes and dogs out of the fenced off area. I love that it’s almost invisible.

    • Very good to enclose a garden
Size: 7.5' x 100'
Summary ======= The product I received was exactly what I expected based on the photo and description. Sorry to see that some of the other reviewers did not get what they expected. All of the similar products I have seen at the home improvement stores and garden centers were either made from much thinner plastic or had much smaller openings in the mesh. Appearance ========== The product is attractive as far as fencing goes. It is nearly charcoal black with a semi-gloss shine to it. Because it is much heavier than netting and has large mesh openings it looks substantial and well made. Durability ========== Although i have only had this for a few months I rate the durability high. The plastic is thick and after a full summer in the sun shows no signs of sun damage. Also, the local deer regularly eat the leaves and vegetables that poke through the netting and yet they have not damaged it in any way. Use === This is a great product for wrapping an enclosed garden; it is attractive, durable, and substantial enough to not stretch or wrinkle easily. The 7.5' x 100' dimensions made it large enough to reach the top of my garden walls and wrap around without any seams. I built an enclosed garden using the frame from a ShelterLogic 12 x 26- Feet Canopy 2- Inch 5-Rib Frame, Tan Cover and this fencing. I would not consider this a substitute for steel field fencing, it really serves a different purpose. It is great for wrapping gardens or using as a temporary or semi-permanent fence. It is much lighter than steel, yet much heavier than thin mesh netting. Recommendation ============== I am happy with my purchase and would buy this product again. ... show more
