After having it for a month the code start giving me problems and I’ll have to use my key or the code will work after several attempts. Now I’m going to have to purchase a different one. Disappointed

Unfortunately our keypad worked for like one day. Now we have to use the key only to open it. Very bummed for what I paid!!

The directions were not very good they are written in broken English and have to be interpreted although I have read worse. It doesn’t say where the reset button is and I have never had my own safe before- little did I know it was inside on the hinge. I thought I wasn’t going to be able to set the code but finally I did find it just searching around the safe. A diagram would be nice. Once I got over that hurdle the safe works pretty well. Although I don’t feel very confident that somebody with a saw could not get in the safe, I know they couldn’t get in it very quickly or unprepared. It is definitely a layer of security and overall. Everything you need from a basic home safe, this Tenamic has it. Though I’m certainly no expert in safe cracking, this one seems durable and well built. It’s also easy to set up and use. The directions, though they’re written in somewhat broken English, are pretty easy to follow if you intend to set up a passcode. I used it for a while, but I’ve decided to only use the keys, and that works just as well. It’s also got holes for mounting, though I’m happy enough to hide it in the back of a closet.
