Look, this is a cheap safe--the walls are thin, and it would not stand up to an aggressive attempt to get in by someone with hand tools. But if you don't need something highly secure, you just need something that will prevent others from getting access to valuables or firearms, this will do the job. And if you want, you can easily bolt it to a wall or shelf or inside a cabinet to make it difficult to just pick it up and walk away. It comes with two bolts and is pre-drilled for them. One very annoying thing is that there does not appear to be any method in the design to disable the "beep" that sounds any time a key is pressed. That means that you cannot silently gain access to the contents. A fairly simple way to fix that is to remove the buzzer/speaker. When the door is open, the plastic cover over the electronics can be removed with a screwdriver. The electronics board is held in place by three small plastic clips that can be pinched to remove it. Unplug the three small cables (don't try to detach the ribbon cable). Flip over the board, and you'll see a small black cylinder which is the speaker. If you use a soldering iron to carefully melt the two solder points where the speaker is attached to the board, it will pull right off, and voila, the safe is now silent. I found that the buttons and lights still work just fine. Of course, this also means that the alarm for repeated incorrect code entries won't work either. But it will allow for silent access to the safe, which could be important for home security purposes.

I never thought I'd be a person who ever had a safe, but investing in this little safe was the best thing I've ever done for keeping my money in a safe place. I don't need to keep much else in it aside from money that I want to keep for a rainy day, so the size of it is perfect for what I needed. It fits perfectly where I want it and I can get to it easily. The keypad code and additional lock and key entry method is super useful for if you ever forget your passcode. Overall, 10/10 would recommend this product to anyone looking into getting a small safe to keep their money in.

This product works perfect & does exactly what I needed it 2 do. I have a few things thats of value that Im always worried about someone taking when we leave the 🏡. So, I bought this small safe 2 put those things in. Its very sturdy, easy 2 use. Its battery & key operated. U get 2 pick your own code when u 1st recieve it. Theres an alarm🚨 on it, & if the batterys go dead & u cant put ur code in, then u always have a 🗝️ key to unlock it. Ive had absolutely NO complications w/ it, it works on the 1st try every time. Its pretty small & you can only fit a few small items in it, so if ur looking for a safe thats not to big, & only need 2 store a few small items, like jewlery & things like that, then this is the perfect safe for u. It also comes w/ bolts so u can bolt it 2 the wall or whereever u want 2. Its also portable, if u want 2 take it with u somewhere. Lightweight amd easy 2 transport. Also, it comes in a few different colors, so its not so boring. I got the pink one. Its very cute & does its job very well. (5⭐s)
