This is an easy-to-use safe with some good features. I wish the shelving were more flexible. The plastic lining on the inside emits a terrible odor. I notice it every time I open the door. I hope it goes away over time.

    • Its a fine safe until you realize how poorly the knob is made made...

For a safe at its current price point (As of 3/22/2023), it...does its job I guess. However, that does not excuse the poor quality of the safe. My main reason being the knob which you open the safe is cheaply handled. If you take a closer look, you can see its only being held by one large spring coil and a tiny screw. This will wear out and sadly this happened to me. After 5 month of use the knob finally wear out and cannot open the safe. I had to use a tool to open the safe. Another poor thing that was handled was the battery cover. While isn't bad to say the least, there is a cap that is basically a small rectangle cover. This can get lost very easily if you aren't careful and I ended up losing it. Silly me I guess but I feel like the design could be way better. Maybe have the cap integrated to the safe? [Outdated] Lastly is support. Uh, there is none lol. Seriously! Since my return window has closed I cannot return it so I was wondering if I can get some support with this safe. Sadly to my knowledge there is none. I should've really looked into the seller profile because I noticed something immediately suspicious. First of all, the sellers business name looks like someone smashed their keyboard 500 times. I mean, do you know a business name that is "ningboshibeilunqulinghushangmaoyouxiangongsi"? This business name is in pinyin but there is no spacing so I cannot translate this well lol. I could really make up a few characters. Oh yea by the way there is no phone number to contact or email so uhh..have fun?! [Updated 4/6/2023] Turns out I was wrong! Silly me! Their support email is in their manual. Tenamic came out of their way to gave me a replacement safe. For Tenamic efforts, I will boost this from 1 stars to 3 stars. I think this is the sweet point for this safe but I still think Tenamic can do better on this safe like making the knob more durable. Overall, props to you Tenamic! Continue what you do.     • Great for keeping things secure
It's good if you bolt it into a wall, if not you could just pick the whole thing up. Im not sure how I feel about the quality of the lock mechanism but it's really good for knowing that kids can't touch anything I lock in there without knowing the code. Also I love that there is a key to open it if it runs out of battery I just feel like it will save me down the line and ive been using It for probably 2 years and I love it. ... show more

    • Really Nice Safe - But has It Been Tested?
I was looking to a large security safe, but didn't want to spend $1000. For the price this safe appears to be an excellent buy. Nice size and has a lot of features. Very easy to set-up, IF you watch the video. Just using the written instructions would be difficult in my opinion. I just received and set-up the safe. I encountered any of the issues other have reported. This was very simple. I would have given the safe 5 Stars, but have to say I have a concern in that the faceplate/keypad is all plastic. It would not be hard for someone to take a hammer and break the faceplate away, or just kick it off. I'm seriously wondering if the safe can be opened with the faceplate removed - has this ever been tested? ... show more

I got this safe because of the features it had for the price however it’s made very cheap. The shelf is suppose to be removable, mines do not come out it only lifts up. The small little compartment door above the shelf is very flimsy I opened it up and the door just popped off so it’s broken. The inside material is not adhered it’s just thrown in there. It will be a very good safe if it was more sturdier. For what it is the price is not worth it. For now it is somewhat serving the purpose till I can replace it wish it has some kind of warranty for the price we are spending. ... show more

    • good value for the money, led light does notwork
pros: good value, the small safe has plenty of room for my pistol,holster, extra mags, and ammo. safe opens quickly with code or fingerprint sensor. cons: led light was DOA. not a big deal for me but could be an issue for some. door will not open if mounted vertically. there is simply Enough tension on the Spring and the door to open it from a vertical position. I'm sure you may get it to work if you felt like tinkering with it for a while. Just something to keep in mind if you want to mount it vertically ( lid facing up). The nonsense some say don't listen to, product is great price is great The only thing is I don't understand why so many manufacturers are doing this, I had no idea where the settings button because no pictures and no description on the manual, I had to go back to the app watch a damn video to find out. You lost a star for that. Half hour was messing with this, almost returned it. Really, why can't you manufacturers do a the job 100% right. ... show more
