Moving into a new house and got this twin XL for the extra room. We have a King tempurpedic that is awesome that hasn't gotten here yet, so I have this and a 3yr old Saatva King size right now.     • Story of Purchase and Information on Tempur-Pedic / Purchasing
I have to write a story about this seller to adequately explain my experience. I initially purchased a mattress from a different seller, who had the contact information for Mattress for Less. I had trouble with that order and called the number listed, expecting it to be a voicemail as it was after hours and on a holiday. I was very surprised to get a live answer from Mike and he took the time to verify that I had not ordered through his business. He also took the time to answer my questions about the mattress I was trying to purchase. He was very understanding and professional. I ended up canceling my order with the other seller and ordering through him. I had a lot of confidence in him handling my business based on my conversation with him. After I made my purchase, which he was not expecting, he updated me on my shipping and the mattress arrived pretty quickly. It was in a box that had framing to prevent it from crushing and was not a rolled up one that takes weeks to breath. I let it breath for 2 days as my preference, but it did not stink. I highly recommend anyone who’s looking to purchase a mattress to make their purchase here! Especially Tempur-Pedic! A few notes regarding purchasing Tempur-Pedic: Purchasing a Tempur-Pedic through any 3rd party doesn’t come with the manufactures 10yr limited warranty, but if you research what it covers, its not really much. My extensive research showed it doesn’t cover “comfort” (as in you don’t find it comfortable anymore), and it is difficult to make a claim if you have to make one. It will cover dipping in the mattress over time, but that potential damage that may or may not happen, is typically from obese people use (not my opinion, just read in research). If you get a waterproof mattress protecter, you won’t have to worry about staining. If you rotate your mattress every couple of months it will help prolong the life of it. Also, don’t buy the Amazon extra “Warranty”. It’s actually an overpriced mattress protector that has a Warranty for the mattress protector, not the mattress. At least that’s what the details said at the time I read it; I almost fell for it. Over all Tempur-Pedic are rugged mattresses and can last longer than 10 years if taken care of. I recommend going out and testing mattresses at stores and find the right one for your comfort, and doing research on what works best for your body/sleep positions. But after you figure that out, you can save hundreds or thousands of dollars buying from Mattress for Less. My purchase here was about $1000 less than it was at the stores I had tested it out at. The customer service here is great and Mike operates a stand up business. 10/10! ... show more

Reviewing ProAdapt 12" firm: Went to the local mattress store and tried lying on many different mattresses of all brands and price ranges. This and a hybrid firm by another company were by far the most comfortable to me. I went with this one, even though I didn't really want to spend $3000 on a mattress. In the store, this mattress felt like I was being transported to a magical realm of sleep. I was completely engulfed in a soft firmness cradling my entire body. The mattress that came from amazon is stiff as a board. I can actually feel pressure where I should be feeling relief at certain places in my body. I wake up with pain in my shoulders and lower back. I am waiting on a mattress topper, hopefully it helps. I would not recommend this mattress for any time of sleeper. ... show more

Just got this mattress (not from Amazon) my back pain was healing the first night, I was so happy to wake up not in pain. I am 300lb and wanted a firmer mattress this is FIRM. I thought because I'm a little bigger I might sink but this thing is sturdy I only sink a tiniest bit which is not enough so I'm going to get a 3in gel topper and it will be perfect however Tempur-Pedic make their mattresses so well I'm sure this thing will hold up for decades! The mattress is nice very very nice and top-notch quality! It's almost too good at its job. When it says firm it means it but still soft but there's no sinking. Hope this helps ... show more

This is an incredible mattress. I know that because it is the second one we have purchased, the first being for our bedroom and this one for our guest room. It seems very hard initially, but softens after a few weeks of use. I didn't think I could adjust and now I think it is the best mattress we have ever had. Has helped with back pain too. I tried another less expensive brand memory foam mattress for the guest room, but ended up returning it and just facing the fact that we had to spend this much to get a really superior product. ... show more
