I also have the High version of this pillow so if you like soft but not too soft, you may want to go with the mid height one. Not a bad buy just a little too soft. This pillow was soft and I was hopeful it would work, but less than a year into the purchase, I feel like it was a total waste of money. The pillow does not hold its shape. With-in six months, I had to start flipping the pillow over and rotating it to even the thickness back out. I wish I had purchased one that was a little firmer. I finally decided to upgrade my pillows and stumbled upon these. I purchased both the extra soft/low profile and soft/medium profile to try. I cannot believe what a difference these pillows make for a good night's sleep! Super comfortable and supportive. Buy the extra soft/low profile if you like a lower pillow but still want support. Nice pillow. I sleep hot so I purchased a cooling tempur-pedic pillow case for it from Target for $30. I need a lo pillow because I am a stomach sleeper. Anything other than low makes my back hurt.
