I tested this exact mattress in the store and it was perfect for me. Two months later and I'm STILL waiting for it to be as plush as in the store. I've read many places that it takes some time to soften up, but this is excessive. I even checked and double checked that I ordered the right one and that the tag/product information says it is the soft one. I wish I could sink into a nice, plush mattress at the end of the day, but I guess I'm stuck with this firm mess for a while. ... show more

This vendor sold me my bed at a great price. The bed arrived quickly, was super well packaged, and was personally delivered by a tractor trailer and the dude even helped me unpack it. I got a way better deal on this bed than the retail store that is close by me. This vendor saved me over 300 bucks. I'd totally do this again. After much research including research on Amazons mattress return policy I went ahead and ordered this mattress. My expectations were very high due to the price. My wife and I both like the mattress. It was not life-changing as many reviews had mentioned. In the end I was just not satisfied with over $5000 for a big piece of foam. We were able to find a clearance Center, Tempur-pedic mattress a little bit lower grade for $1100. It has been nearly 2 months since we submitted for the return and still have not received the credit from Amazon. We are avid Amazon shoppers and have enjoyed their return policy for many years without any issues. We will never again make a large purchase from Amazon as this has been a totally different experience. ... show more

We are both over 200 pounds. The only option for memory foam and heavier people is Tempurpedic. Either Tempurpedic or buy a mattress every year or two as we've being doing for years... The mattress still firm, considering that it has 4.72 inches of comfort material. You might sink more than you'd like if you're over 200lb. I think this mattress is best suited for people who weigh 180lb or less, and still like a firm mattress. For people like us the best option would be the pro-adapt, which has 3.15 inches of comfort material and a taller support core vs the luxe. Regardless, very comfortable mattress. You can't go wrong with Tempurpedic if you love memory foam. ... show more

The initial reaction was this was going to be too hard. But after laying on the bed it molded around me providing very good support. I don't notice turning during the night with this mattress; as with the previous mattress. I have not notice it being any warmer than an standard bed but then again I like a lot of heat. About 7 years ago, for a few months I slept on a Tempur Pedic memory foam mattress that was probably made 15 years ago......it was the firmest memory foam mattress I've ever slept on and I loved it. I purchased this one thinking it would be firm like that mattress. It is not, in fact its not any firmer than the mattress I was using currently. I am returning this mattress and buying the Tempur Adapt Pro firm, which I found in a store so I could actually test it before ordering, and it is nice and firm like I remembered the old mattress to be. So, if you are expecting a really firm mattress, don't order this one unless you can test one out somewhere first to make sure it's what you want. Now bear in mind that the firmness I was expecting this to be, many people call hard as a rock, one reviewer said that the Pro Adapt firm which I like was no better than sleeping on his floor.....so if you like more traditional memory foam mattresses, this MAY be firm enough for you, but I was disappointed with it. ... show more
