I was a bit skeptical of the cooler claims but it does have a cooling effect. It does have a waterproof claim that works - my dog tested it. Its some what thick so your sheets will fit just a tad tighter. I would purchase again.

I bought a TempurPedic mattress a while back and hesitated to buy this mattress pad because of the price, and because I had others. But if you can afford it, I think its worth the money. Thicker than I thought it would be, but that's fine... fits the bed well and my sheets don't slide around.

This cover does not give a cooling factor, on top of our cooling mattress. Cover is slippery underneath sheets and does not stay in place. I went name brand for our name brand mattress thinking they would work well together. I would not recommend spending your money on this for the cooling factors Temper-Pedic advertises. As far as protection, it does what it needs to, but you can find other protectors at a much cheaper rate. ... show more

The material it’s made of gets hot it definitely has 0 cooling effect. Also it’s slides around too much. Hard to believe we are in 2021 and there’s not 1 company that can make a light weight cooling technology water resistant mattress protector. I’ve paid for several from different companies and No Company has got it right. I’m just trying to protect my investment in having a bed that was over 5 k. Hope a company get it right soon. What’s sad is I’ll probably end up keeping this mattress protector just because it’s the least worst one that I bought so far. ... show more
